Well we had the last of the summer car shows at our local Bass Pro shop. We were hoping Dave made it into town in time to stop by and say hi but we never heard from him. We did however have a few club members with up showing the only C3s of the show, and our very own Curt took 1st and Rick from Macon took 2nd. Great job guys.

Those turned out great Matt. I was very suprised to beat out Rick's '69. That car has always been one I've looked up to even before I got my C3 and started the restoration. Rick is a real cool guy!

Great Pics!
Congrats Curtis on the win!! I didn't make it in until late...there were several traffic delays around the St Louis area... I got to sit and look at the arch for quite a while! |

There is a car show at Joe Machens Ford on Sat over by the mall here in Columbia. I know it's a Ford dealership but it is open to all makes and classes and it's to benefit the D.A.R.E program. It starts at 9:00am, judging from 10:00am to 12:00pm, the awards are at 2:00pm. You guys down with this if the weather is good? DB, call Rick and let him know. Right now the weather is calling for partly sunny skies and mid 60's. |

Oh man! I promised my brother in law that we'd play golf on Saturday!! Let me do some talking, but he is not much of a car guy. If he still wants to play golf, I need to honor my commitment.
It would be great seeing everyone again and meeting Epimax. I'm ready to check out his C4. |
