Good Morning CGs!

Wow, is it really 09.09.09??? Is that some freaky Twilight Zone stuff or what? Wonder what weird things are gonna happen?

So we decided that we are finally going to make it to the zoo today. We've been trying to go for a while, hasn't happened. But we better go because I just signed up for a year long membership online. Not a bad idea, really. To go one time costs us $12 a person (adults) plus $8 parking. A year pass is $85, free admission, free parking, extra passes, other discounts. Plus our neighbors are members, too, so I'm sure we'll take the kids more often after this. Zoo is only open 10-5, so we'll try to get there right when it opens so we can walk around before Sam's nap. Well, on that note I've gotta run!

Hope everyone has a great day!

That's the first time I ever heard of a season ticket to the zoo.
The ski slope close to me has a $300 season ticket.
Virginia City's gonna be a zoo this weekend, they're holding the 50th annual International Camel Races.

Reno's holding the Hotair Ballon Races.

I think I'll just go to the SCCA Time Trials and teack the kiddies to race this weekend.

I have two free passes for the zoo on my refrigerator door. I'm going when it cools down a little. We have a pretty nice zoo here. No bars and natural habitats. Trying to get motivated here for todays tasks at hand. I will. But when?

What good is a zoo without a bar?

quick note here....Our Zoo has a yearly membership available and then they have a reciprocal agreement with other zoos so you can go to them free as well. We joined our local zoo, then used the pass at the zoo in Omaha, NE. What the membership cost was less than what it would have cost to get into the Omaha Zoo, so it was more than worth it.

I've lived about 8 blocks from the Minnesota Zoo for 22 years, and have been there exactly once. I should get back there one of these days.

It was glad to see the Wednesday chat, since it feels a lot like Tuesday.

Is that really the word of the day or did you just throw that in?

The right prop at the wrong time. Malapropism.
