Good Morning CGs!

Well I was up at 3 am. Ugh. Don't know why. Couldn't fall asleep for about 20-25 minutes. Then it was up and down until 5:30. Weird. I had no trouble falling asleep and I never have this problem. I don't feel tired now, but I'm sure I will later.

I'm gonna try to stop by GM today and order the new upper radiator hose for the 79. Last one I got from AZ was garbage so I'll just get GM. For the extra $6 it's worth it to me.

Gonna be 45* today, but by Tuesday back up to 60. That's when I'm gonna finish closing the pool

Howdy! I'm working from home today - the sprinkler guys are going to come and blow out our system, and of course it's one of those 4 hour windows. At least the commute down the hall was easy.

Hey Matt, Who's the manufacturer for the GM hose?

I go to my local Napa for hoses, they carry Gates.
The store is like 2 blocks from my house, so the $$
difference for gas over AZ or Advanced is used for new shoes.

Good Morning All,

Well, I'm a ton happier this morning now that I figured my problem out with the car. It seems to be running great again. First impressions of 3.54 gears and the 3000 Stall converter I got from PeteK is WOW!! I really haven't been able to Romp on it hard yet, but will be playing with it over the next few weeks trying to tweak it a bit. I think the RPM ranges for shifts need to be adjusted but this is a gray area for me at this time, so I need to do some more research.

The weather here sucks today... rainy mid 40s to 50s and looks like it will be like this through the weekend. The big Ocean City, MD Corvette weekend looks like it will be a very damp affair. I'm not sure if I will be attending now that the forecast is so bleak. I'll probably just stay at home and do some little things on the car like install the transmission oil cooler I bought and dink around with the tuning software a bit.

Morning CGs. Our escapee is still on the loose. So I am assuming that we are still in lockdown mode. I went home yesterday afternoon and felt the worse I had all week, didn't feel like doing anything, napped until it was time to go to bed. I am awake this morning feeling better than I have all week. Maybe I worked it out.

Oh, it's going to warm up here today...looking for 70*. Yesterday we had a record low High temp 46*

Nah, there's a lot of difference between Tommy and the escapee. I did have the police call me here at home tonight, asking if I heard the kids talking about someone who was supposedly helping the escapee with shelter and clothing changes...one of our students. I told them what the kids were saying. I think they were going to check it out. I certainly hope they catch the guy.
