Good Morning CGs!
Well, the freezing rain started last night around 6:00 and I don't know when/if it let up. Roads should be interesting this morning so I'll be leaving a bit early. Last night my cousin dropped by and we had a few beers and some chicken off the grill. Haven't done that in a while. I love winter grilling. Always a treat. After that we watched "The Day the Earth Stood Still". Not a bad movie. Weird in a scifi kind of way which I'm not usually in to. I prefer action movies, but it was still not bad. I'd say more of a rental than a movie to buy, but it was $8 at the video store so that's why I picked it up. Anyone else see any good movies lately? Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew |

Matt, get "The Hurt Locker". Darn good movie that is now available for rental.
Warm today, but a lot of rain. The Vette will stay in the garage today while I use the truck for my errands. |

Howdy!
Not much happening here, except work. Lots and lots of work- which beats the hell out of the alternative! Looks like I'll be here all this weekend too, which makes the 3'rd in a row. That, plus the 12 hr days have me dragging... (hopefully, this trend will not continue much longer!) Hope everybody has a good day! |

This morning the forecast called for a wintry mix. Unfortunately they were not talking about hot toddies. So I am expecting a delightful commute on the way home.
I vaguely recall barbecuing - my grill is buried under snow, won't see it for a couple of months. Have a good day, everyone! |

morning guys, been busy....again. I didn't get to bed until after midnight, then up early. My butts dragging. Still working on computers and building those darn cabinets I told the people I'd have done and installed by mid February. Weather here is cloudy, but it's supposed to be in the mid to upper 40's...I can take that for January. I'm glad I don't have your snow, Brad....although we could use some moisture.

Sunny today in South Bend, Finished my daughters countertops late last night, one more vanity to installed and plumbing. Install hardware on Friday and another job finished. What's next?? Stopped and ate chinese dinner @ midnight. That settled real well!! General Tso chicken and fried rice, sounded good @ 11:00 pm. Have a great day guys!

Its 7:30 pm just finished my daughters bathroom. She says Hey dad lets go get some chinese food. Brain is saying no Ron! last nights midnight meal caused a flashback and gas. TeeBees right I did'nt sleep real well... Hey Erin(daughter) how about mexican? While eating our burritos she asks"hey dad do you think when you were in Vietnam that you ever ate dog at the resturants in Siagon. I'm thinking 10 ways to WOK your dog. No Erin but I did notice there were no rats or cats near food establishments. Kids! what do they know! My reply as we left the mexican place "did you notice the texture of the shredded beef in your burrito"Pale stare from daughter Priceless.

Been decent weather here, had the vette out some, got a lot of things done to it also. Am praying real hard for a huge change coming soon involving a move. Mite not happen but Im praying. I reaaaaallllllyyy want to GTFO of here....
Still having personal issues, but started counseling yesterday, go back again Feb. 1. Am about 2/3 way through one of these freelance jobs then to start another, hopefully for a little more money to keep me from hitting the unemployment office. Hope all of you have had a good last few days... |
