Good Morning CGs!

Holy cow, can you believe this month is over already??? It has flown by. Hopefully next month is when I can really get down to business and start wrenching on the engine.

Not much to report here. Got a haircut yesterday - that's all the excitement I can think of Oh, that and the computer screen I ordered for the laptop came in yesterday. My BIL is supposed to drop it off tonight, but I probably won't get a chance to work on it right away.

How was everyone's weekend?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

The weather was crap yesterday, we had popcorn snow in the afternoon.
The roads will be nice & dry in an hour or so, 55 & sunny, 60 tomorrow.
The only plan I have today is to exercise the C4.

Winter time is getting real OLD. Today, cloudyhigh of 27 and F(**%$ chance of snow again. Saturday worked on the 87, eliminated air injection tubes feeding into the exhaust manifold. Fabed up a cab support brackets for the 89 4x4, road salt have eaten away @ cab cushion supports.. Got into fab and welding yesterday. Ten hours later done with self imposed car projects. Today, need to head out to Farm Fleet and pick up welding consumables. Feeling the effect of Taco Bell fast food @ 10 oclock last night!!! Have a great day guys.

Very nice weather here today. Miss jumping in the truck with the camera and trolling round the countryside.
But I did get out and pick up a box of Cinnabon rolls.....

I'm home visiting the wife. Weather today in the low 60's. It's a much needed break from the freezing cold and snow. Projects this week paint a couple of rooms so we can put the house on the market. Change the oil in the vette. Hope ya'll have a good day.

Not feeling so great today. I slept in very late and watched a few UFO shows on cable.

I'm not sure if I feel worn out because I feel a little defeated by the wiring in my car, or that I truly feel like crap. I just copied off the pages from the FSM and plan on going down and identifying what wires do what in the connectors and really trying to figure out that stupid system.

Don't worry Andy I won't take it to BestBuy. I was just being sarcastic and hoping the radio gods heard me!
I think I'd rather R&R Optis and Cam Packages all day long rather than work on Corvette wiring.

Anyhoo - For everyone with cabin feaver... its almost over and we will be back into Spring weather soon!!

I miss Puerto Vallarta. Here at home, not one person has offered to bring me a margarita or pina colada.

Hey guys, we made the trip to KC yesterday. Once here I worked on getting the daughter's computer to work wirelessly with their router. I bought the parts for fixing their Alero, front hub/wheel bearing was bad. Then after doing that we went to watch the oldest grand daughter at her swim meet, for those of you who are familiar with swimming she was swimming at Division 2 levels (a time qualified meet). She made finals in two of her three events yesterday and made a Division 1 time (faster swim level) in one of those, the 50 meter butterfly finishing 5th and in her 100 meter backstroke she just missed div 1 time by less than a half a second in that event and finished 3rd.

Today we got up and went to church, then took the one daughter and family (the one who is having the baby tomorrow) out for breakfast. When we got back I started in changing out the wheel hub, had to go buy a socket set at Harbor Freight, bought a 3/4" drive metric socket set for not much more than the parts store wanted for one 36mm 1/2" drive socket. When I got into it I figured that I may as well replace the rotor and brake pads, so I went back and got those parts. I got it all changed out in about 2 1/2 hours. Now we took the one grand daughter to the other daughters house so we could watch her and three other grands from the other daughter, so her hubby could go watch the other grand daughter swim in finals today. Today she had two events and made finals in both, and already made a Div 1 time in her 100 fly. Finals are going on as I type.

Tomorrow, the daughter goes in to the hospital before 10 am and then they prep her for the c-section. We will stay with the one grand daughter until a little after noon then go to the hospital to see the new baby.

The wife is planning on staying here for a couple weeks, but I will head back Tuesday (we both drove vehicles up so she will have her car while here and I won't have to come back to get her when she's ready to come home).

Just another busy weekend for me. Talk to you later.

Probably scared off by your shirt and funny "cigarette"

TB - isn't that the way it always works with car projects??? While I'm in there I might as well....hope the doctor doesn't feel that way when he opens up your daughter tomorrow...might end up with a monkey liver or something like that

Thanks guys....Matt, yes that's always the way it is. I should have bought the parts yesterday when we were there. The worst of it is, I think the CV joints on the axle are bad too, it still has a rumble when we drive it.

Brad, nobody has offered me one either. LOL

I'll bring you a pina colada or margarita. Have a 1/5 of Patron here collecting dust and I'd appreciate the company!

Hope you all had a good weekend.
