Good Morning CGs!

Well, we stopped by the MIL's last night for a bit to say Happy Birthday. Flowers and cards and all that good stuff. She was happy. Then we went to the cell phone store and narrowed down our selection a bit. I believe we are going back this morning to finalize everything.

Baby woke up at about 1 am last night screaming bloody murder. It was storming out pretty bad and her nose was stuffy, but we just couldn't figure out why. No fever, no signs of sickness other than the stuffy nose. Couldn't set her down for a second. Wife carried her around for about 15 minutes. Otherwise she was wailing. I made her some juice and gave her a drop of children's tylenol. That seemed to do the trick. Still can't figure it out so we chalked it up to a bad dream.

Other than that, the entertainment painting/refinishing project is almost done. I put a coat of paint on the front of the doors last night, gotta do the other side today. Looks nice overall.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I'm getting ready to go over to Curt's for more work on the Steeroids kit on his '74.

Tyler's going to be joining us and I'm sure collectively we can overcome the challenges at hand.

Today I plan to do a little this n'that. Gas up some cars, clean up a little. Heading to Muscle Car City tomorrow with a caravan of Porsches. Meeting at the 84 Diner and Lounge in Fort Lauderdale at 8:00 AM. We'll get there at 7:00. Might as well enjoy a nice breakfast before the cruise. There is a BBQ joint outside the museum. Guess I won't be wandering around with an empty stomach. Food. About a 2 1/2 hour ride one way.

Morning gurus....I'm going to work in the shop today and do a little cleaning in the house, so that when my wife gets here tomorrow, she won't realize that I'm a complete slob.

I'm on spring break for the next week. I have several jobs that I need to get complete or at least move forward quite a ways.

Tommy, that sounds like a lot of fun. Matt, they just do that sometimes, no apparent reason. Just chalk it up to having kids.

Howdy! I'm sure I will be doing something today, just not sure what yet. The snow is disappearing at a more rapid pace now - I can see some patches of grass, though there's no threat of having to mow it anytime soon. Six months of no yard work, and those six perfect days we get here every summer - that's why we live here :-P

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Tommy, where is this Muscle Car City? Could be interesting.

Me? I am doing tons of laundry... cleaning up my car and a few other things...

Mostly, mourning the near death of my laptop... the wireless is dead as dead gets, the PCMCIA slot is actually a ExpressCard slot, so now I need to make a decision... do I tempt fate that the mobo is going to survive, or do I just bite the bullet???

Oh, the left mouse button is still dead and the speakers are dead, too... the little plastic connector broke apart on disassembly last night. yee-ha.

Yahoooooooo - the Christmas lights are finally down! This is the latest that I can ever remember having to leave them up. Usually we get some kind of reprieve in January that allows me to get out there and take them down, but not this year. Anyway, another sign that spring is approaching. The yard is a complete mess, at least what parts I can see of it.

Andy, I would just bite the bullet - you've probably spent enough in your time trying to revive that old laptop to pay for a new one.
