Good Morning CGs!

Well, it's about 44* right now, which is the high for the day. How is that possible?!? Rain the rest of the day, as well. They say we might get snow *again* this weekend. Oh geeze. Haven't we suffered enough? (you know in July when it's 98* for 2 weeks straight I'll be complaining, too )

If you missed it in chat yesterday, the wifey is sick with bronchitis. Dr gave her some antibiotics but still doesn't make her feel any better yet. She actually went to work today but says she's gonna make it a half day. Oh well, not my decision.

My cousin came over last night and we hung out for a bit so I didn't get to finish up grinding on the intake manifold. I did however, get my daughter's new tricycle put together, so at least I did something productive.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning Matt.

I have lots to do today.

I have to get the headers shipped back to Eckler's so they can give me a refund so I can buy from a company that wont jerk me off with sales reps that wouldn't know their way out of a wet paper bag. Mid America, I hope you're ready for my money.

Then I'm shipping my polished carb adapter back to Inglese, who have understood the problem and are going to swap me an adapter with straight holes instead of slots. I'll have to re-polish the new adapter but it'll look a lot better trimmed and properly fit with regular holes instead of slots.

Curt's also coming over this morning and we're going to spend some time cleaning up my engine bay. Not a lot to loom or organize but I'll do that too. Then I need to clean up the radiator and organize all the fan wiring, and put the finishing touches on the engine itself.

Off tomorrow too so I have a few days I can work on the Vette solid.

There is no way Sam will be pushed in that trike without doing wheelies. Make sure the push bar is stout before attempting any dare-devil tricks.

I'm taking off for a few days to visit Mom. She always schedules with me so I have to go to the Hungarian club dance. I'm not too hard to spot at the place. I'm the only guy with a beard, pony-tail and suit. After all these years I still do whatever makes Mom happy. Well... almost whatever makes Mom happy. Get to visit with all my family. Oh the joy .......

Safe travels, Tommy!

Cool here today, but I saw a 67 in the forecast a few days out. A co-worker is heading to the Los Angeles area on spring-break vacation today, and they're not expecting much warmer than that. Cheaper to just stay home and concoct your own Mickey Mouse operation.

Have a good one, all!

It was over 70* yesterday.

Of course, being Reno, it's snowing this a.m.

But it will melt as soon as the sun comes up.

Our IT guys just dropped off a big honkin' IBM workstation at my desk. Apparently my management thinks two computers will make me twice as efficient.

In actually, it means I can have one Guru-dedicated machine.

So, anybody know how to run Catia?

What color loom are you using, do I need to buy stock in this company?

Greetings, Gurus!

Matthew - get well wishes to your wife! And hoping that litle Sam doesn't catch it.

Tommy - happy travels and visits!

I've got a nice mellow day today. Some meetings/activity this afternoon, but most of the day should be nice.

Sure, you just line it up the center of your tire and hit the gas. Oh wait, not run over a catia. In that case, no.

Hey folks....Another typical day in high school. I did finish up the computer finally. The manufacturer sent me a link to Intel's site to download the drivers.

The weather here is better today, sunny, highs in the mid 50's and no wind. Tommy, have a safe trip. Matt, be careful on that thing it can throw you in a second .

Trae, are you having to learn Catia? It's supposed to be a great design software. DB, I thought you bought those from Ecklers?

Looks like it. Our parent company uses it almost exclusively, and we're trying to improve our data exchange. I have experience with several different 3D software packages, so hopefully it won't be too difficult to pick up.

You're right, wrote that early and had the wrong name in my head.

Edited for accuracy.
