Good Morning CGs!

Slept in a bit this morning and it was nice. I found some extra energy last night so I started cleaning up the garage. Spent a couple hours and it barely looks like I did anything! Started organizing my toolbox a bit and there's still a lot of room for more stuff. Guess it's time to buy more tools! Ha. Actually, I need to organize my garage better. I'm trying to keep my mechanic's/car tools separate from my house tools the best I can. We'll see how that works out.

Got a lot on my plate today. Go get fitted for my tux. Work in the garage and try to pull the trans. Cut the back grass (did the front yesterday). And then take a nap before we go out tonight to celebrate my BILs bday. Whew.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I slept in even more - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It's time to power-wash the deck, get out the deck furniture, put away the snowblower, get the lawn mowers running, etc. An action-packed day, for sure.

Have a great weekend, everybody!

Nope, I didn't sleep in. My dog wakes me up at 6am, like it or not. A lot cooler today, but a beautiful sunny day nonetheless.
I'm going to do some little things on the car today and then probably take a ride later with the wife into "NapTown" -- local slang for Annapolis, MD

I wish I were at the Car Show with all the Guru Guys today!

Morning guys. Speaking of Tuxes, I'll be wearing mine today. The wife and I will be attending the high school prom tonight. Maybe I'll get a picture.

I'm headed out to the shop shortly. I have face frames to build and get installed on the cabinets. After that I'll start on the doors and drawers....probably (hopefully) tomorrow.

Weather is going to be beautiful today and tomorrow, mid 70's and breezy. I think that I'll take the Corvette to prom....that should make the high school boys jealous.

Good morning gurus. Looks like everyone is busy. I'm gonna head to the campground and see if the water is on in the park. If it is I'll start to get the rv ready to be occupied again. The wife meets with a couple of real-estate agents today and hopefully pick one to market our house. Wish I was at the show too so I could meet some gurus. Well busy day time to get going.

Had a fun packed house last night with us and two other couples. One couple was heading north from the Keys the other heading south to Islamorada. They stopped at our house to spend a night. We all know each other and fish together. Each was towing a boat and one of the wives was following in her jeep. So in my driveway and yard I had three boats, a full size van, pick up truck, jeep and three sportscars. Still had room for another car and a few motorcycles. My wife and I had our trucks parked oustside the gate where we always park them. Woke up, had a nice breakfast and everybody prepared to head on their seperate ways. Unfortunately, one of my buddies got the call we all hate to get. His 95 y/o mom in Ohio had past away last night in her sleep. Just another example of how one minute everything is fine, the next, bedlam and confusion. I hope everybody has a wonderful day. Try to make the best of it. Make each day count.

Ohhh...prom night and a fancy car? Maybe you'll get lucky! Ha.

Tommy - true words. Best wishes to your buddies family.

Ricky - yeah, I wonder who's getting married??? Lol.

I did accomplish a few chores so far...few the rugrat, cleaned up the house, cut the grass, got in a good workout. Now I'm eating lunch then off to men's wearhouse. Fun stuff.

Got the 91 back today with a fresh set of injectors. Engine idles much better, espcially since I had 3 bad injectors on the left bank. It seemed faster when I first got it but maybe I've just adjusted to it's performance and it only seemed faster then. Ever notice that a car seems a little slower the longer you own it? I guess that's why people are always modding them. Well, everything is up and running right now. That's got to count for something. Now I'll have to jump back into repairing some things cosmetically.

I need a ride in the massage chair - uffda! Did lots of power-washing, hauling lawn furniture, putting up outdoor shades, etc. I made an executive decision - the heavy wrought iron stuff is staying where it is next year. #1 son is grilling some chicken for us - I'm gonna put my feet up and enjoy a tasty beverage.

Sounds like you need a little of this heavy iron:

Made it prom and spent some time watching the kids for a while. Not sure why they call that, cr@p they listen to, music. But the kids were having a good time.

Here's a picture of the wife and I, tux and all.
