Looky here. May is right around the corner. It's was windy for a week. Now it's been raining the past couple days. So far, my test runs with my 91 have been pretty good. The nose lifts right up in the air when I give it the boot. I keep wanting it to accellerate faster. No, there is nothing wrong with the car. I've just adapted to it's power. I have to keep it straight when I jump on it. If you've ever done unintentional 360's in a Corvette, you know it's not something you want to do too often. Guess I'll goof around inside today. Don't have to wander too far to find something that needs to be done. Have a great one Gurus.

Up early to head out to the car show. Judging starts at 8a, so we need to get there before that.

Had a great time at the LBGP yesterday. Nice corrall, beautiful weather, good racing, and some tasty festival food.

Happy Sunday!

Good Morning CGs!

Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Saturday night! We went to dinner with a small group to celebrate Rick's upcoming wedding (not a bachelor party guy) and then hit the casino. It was super busy as the restaurant and we had our name on the list. After like 30 minutes we went up and asked when our table would be ready, and our name was already crossed off the list about 4 down. WTF! Someone stole our table. Can you believe that?? BS. Especially since we were standing in the vestibule and no one called our name. The girl found another table and seated us instantly. So that was decent at least. Once we hit the casino I hit the roulette table and a few of them went to slots, etc. Played roulette for close to two hours, so that's a good run. I didn't like the first dealer, but she left and I got a new one after I dropped about 4 spins in a row. My new dealer was my good luck charm and I ended up walking away $100 richer than when I started. Not bad for me since I'm not a high roller. Guy across the table from me was getting huge payouts...$100-$300 a spin...but he was also betting at least $100 a spin. So I guess you gotta play big to win big. That's not me, I just do it for fun. And it's always fun when you win

Heard at the track the other day.

Disport is exciting "It's hard when you have a street race with different categories sharing the same track," O'Connell said. "I think we were competitive and as fast as anyone, but traffic would separate the GT cars and then it was difficult to make that back up. You hope for a caution to open an opportunity, and as things worked out, I think we can be proud of a fine result."

Greetings! Had a miserable round of golf yesterday - many more like that and I'll be burying the clubs in the back yard. The company was good and the weather was decent, anyway. I have a few chores to do outside today, then I may tackle the exhaust install if time permits.

Cool looking car, but I'll take it without the electric BS. Just keep the 500 hp motor.

It would probably have trouble achieving 78 mpg, then ;-)

Morning folks. We are going to head back after while. Got to watch the granddaughters play soccer yesterday, well sort of...the four year old doesn't quite understand the game. Then in the afternoon we went to watch the older GD swim. 10 years old and she was swimming against 11-14 year olds in a couple of her events, and beat them. 100 freestyle time 1:14.43 and her 100 butterfly 1:34.56, pretty good times for a 10 year old. We've been a swimming family for nearly 30 years, so swimming competitions are not anywhere new to us.

I posted that car in the German Engineering post the other day. I wouldn't throw it out of the garage. If I had a couple of extra hundred thousand laying around I might consider putting my name on the list. Unfortunately, right now my bank account is a couple of million short.

Good afternoon everyone.
Suffering from a decent hangover, but no one to blame but myself. Kinda worth it though. Spent some quality time with my wife, and her family. With all my travel, I really don't ever get a chance to really relax, and I did last night.

Took a 2 hour drive with a buddy. He picked up a bitchen set of wheels and tires (used but like new) for his 2000 FRC.
I leave the house about 4:30 to meet a guy and purchase a set of 4 Dymags off an 88 or 89 challenge car.

I guess today is wheel day.
Hope everyone make it a good sunday.

Good afternoon gurus. Nice day today. I got the trailer moved to a different spot. Temps in the high 60's and low 70's. Been a nice day all in all.

Just got back from the lawnmower hunt. I gave my son my 10 y/o Craftsman and went and picked up a Troy Bilt with a 160 cc Honda engine at Lowes. List for $249 price reduced to $236. Seems like a really nice mower. It's light weight and had the features I wanted, mainly a mulching mower with a larger back wheel, decent power and not too loud. I don't want or need a lot of bells and whistles. I can wash the bottom myself without a hose hook up and don't need it self propelled either. I checked out Lowes, Sears and Home Depot. I went to each store twice before I made my decision. Pretty much I was looking to spend between $199 and $250. Some of the mowers were really heavy. Anyway, I'm happy with my purchase and smiled to myself when I put it in the shed. Funny thing how a simple thing like a new lawnmower can bring a smile to your face. It also color matches my Troy Bilt/Honda pressure washer. For some reason when I went to crank it for the first time it just didn't want to start. Several more attempts and nothing. As soon as I connected the plug wire it fired right up.

Good pick there, Tommy. I personally like the self-propelled part on my mower. Oh well. I did stop by the Depot today myself. Finally picked up the replacement head for the weed whacker that's been broken since last summer. I also got a new window well cover so the baby doesn't fall in! It was a $25 job that is supposed to support 500 lbs. Seems sturdy enough. Of course I spent an hour cutting and chiseling the concrete patio around the window well to get it to fit. It was wifey's orders so I didn't have much choice about the matter. One of those deals.
