Good Morning CGs!

It's chilly and wet here today. Has been and will be cold this whole week. What the heck. Where are the warm days again? Of course I'll be complaining in the summer when it's 90* with no a/c in the vette!

Wifey is working today so baby went to grandma's last night. Got a good night's sleep.

Tonight I'm looking forward to tinkering with the engine a bit and start dressing it on the stand. Little things like reattaching the oil cooler brackets, fuel pump block off, water pump, etc. I need to slap the intake manifold on there, too.

Starting selling one or two parts leftover from the rebuild, too, so that's good. On that same note, I spoke to my builder yesterday for a good amount of time. We ended up coming to an agreement that made me happy as far as the price goes. I don't know if he likes me very much right now, but oh well. I'm pretty persuasive and at the end of the day the customer is happy

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

He might not like you much if you need future work either.

Trying to convince myself to do next to nothing today but I don't think I'll be able to do it. My mother raised me with at least two traits that will get in the way. A work ethic and guilt. So as soon as I loosen up a bit I'm sure I'll be finding something that needs to get done. Hope y'all have a productive day.

Greetings! Beautiful day here, low 40's, wind and rain. Perfect ingredients for a golf day. In hell.

Rainy, windy and cold. Welcome to spring in Northern Indiana. My students are hard at work on benches, 13 more days.!!
Removed my Bose rear and door speakers last night. Interesting system! Dash speakers look like a pain in the *** to remove. I'll tear everything apart first including head unit and figure it out from there.

Humm, second cup for me and it's only 6:30.
Maybe I'll go back to bed.

Would taking an early nap be considered doing something?

Excellent suggestion ....

Good morning guys! Well it's a typical day in high school in May....spring fever has set in , but good. The kids are wound up. Today is supposed to be a little nicer, weather wise today.

Played golf last night...well I went out to mens night and swung at the ball. Played with a guy who likes to tell you everything you're doing wrong and correct you to the hilt. He means well, but doesn't come off like that. He finally told me on #4 not to use my club to tee off with, but use his driver, I told him what would happen, but I did use it and did exactly what he told me and I sliced it out off bounds (just like I told him would happen). So then he says "well you need to stand clear over to the right and aim left and let the ball fade back to the middle." I told him "I know that, and if you were watching earlier, that's exactly what I was doing". Any way on the next tee box he said "Just go ahead and do what you want." "OK, thanks." And I proceeded to put the ball in the middle of the fairway....what a tool.

Well I get to school this morning and find out that the school board has decided to offer me a contract for next year, so I am officially back for at least another year. I'm still retiring and will start receiving my pension checks, big difference is that I will be taking a hit on my salary do to the state laws about double dipping.

Cold and rainy here also. suppose to be cool most of the week with rain thurs and fri.

Ron I thought the bose system only had door speakers and rear speakers. The dash ones were for non bose units. I could be wrong tho.

Mike I hope your right! The thought of tearing into that dash is making me nuts!

Appreciate your input.

Greetings, Gurus!

My first work day in a while where I can sit at my desk all day and actually catch up on things. Should be a nice slow week like this without having to drive all around town.

I've got some Almond Ice Cream churning away for my mom's coworker. He tried a sample last week, and loved it! So he ordered a batch. I make ice cream as a fundraiser for different charities, so he's going to make a donation.

Happy Tuesday!

My old boss used to be a huge golfer. He had a really funny quote - next time that idiot hits one go "Oh my, you've got way too much LOFT". When idiot asks "what's LOFT?" you tell him - Lack Of F'n Talent.

Ron - what Mike said about the speakers. If you have a bose system it's the doors and the rear. And after taking apart the doors, I almost with they were in the dash!
