Good morning everyone, hope all is well.

Didn't know where to post it, but wanted to say thanks to Andy for sorting out the forum password for me - thanks Andy.

Wecome back Fluff.

I have felt like crap the past couple of days. Really couldn't get much done. Hopefully today is the day I can get back into the game. I'm going to try. Nothing for me to report because I've got nothing done. I'm gonna clean up and get out of here. Start with cutting some grass and try to move up from there. Hope everybody has a great day. Make something happen.

Good Morning CGs!

Welcome back, Fluff. Good to see you posting again.

Not a whole lot going on here. Rain yesterday and and extra helping of it today. Guess I won't get the grass cut today, either?

I ordered some tuning stuff from Moates last night. A G1 adapter and zif socket so I can install my chips easier. I'll be having Mick do my tuning. I'm also tracking down some new injectors for the build. It's all coming together. I still have to paint the headers and plenum, no big deal there. Hopefully the weather cooperates this weekend (along with the wife).

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Greetings! Welcome back, Fluff, and get better, Tommy!

Rainy, dreary and cold here, but they're promising 9 days of beautiful weather, starting tomorrow. Not sure if I believe the weather geniuses, but we need something to hope for.

Thanks guys,

Wishing you better Tommy and a good day for all.

Twiddling with the vette today, it’s been off the road for about 6 months and the (half expected) problem yesterday was finding the battery dead and then trying to locate a new one . Ended up with an ACDelco MT75-6YR which was a straight fit (well almost), but at a price… 166 euros and that was with a 15% discount!. Now I’ve found the A/C isn’t blowin cold, so a question for you guys later in the proper section.

Haven’t been around because the UK taxman nearly bankrupted me and wouldn’t accept that my tax liabilities have been paid in Spain for the last 13 years. Then the sat link for internet in our village got took out by storms and has taken months to install a new system.

So now back to vette work and dodging the rain clouds over here.

Have BP stopped that oil leak yet?

I have no (deliberate) grass either, nor a mower.

Living on a mountain I do have a flame thrower type thing that deals with all kinds of unwanted weeds.

I love the mountains.
I only live in the foothills @ 5490feet.
The mountains go up from here.

That's a nice looking spot Bill.

I've still got one toe in the sea then..... only about 500mts up.

This is our nearest village:-

Went out to cut the grass and found the winds have taken out a section of fence. Tried to raise it to rig it but it was too much for one person, so I called it in to the boss. She can get it later with her crew. While I was mowing I saw a little bird sitting in some weeds by the corner intersection. It just kind of sat there as I rode by. I went back to the shed and got a milk crate and cover and picked up the little birdie. Little baby cockateil looked like it was tuckered out. I gave it some water and later brought it home to give it some seed and water. I still have Birdies' cage from last year so I put it in and it started eating up a storm. We'll see how it does.

Didn't you find Birdie too?
Are people throwing birds away there?

Hope he does well.

Yup, found Birdie too but Monk/Quaker parakeets fly wild down here. I have a flock come visit me about twice a day in the back yard up on the power lines. Lots of bird owners and bird escapees in South Florida. There are parts of town where peacocks roam free. The new bird looks something like this without the long tail feathers.

Morning guys. I've been busy again today. A few people who don't want to do anything, I'm in no mood to fight them, I'll just dock their grade for the day. Got the last table sanded now just a little finish sanding and they are ready for finish.

Tommy and Ron, I hope that you get to feeling better. Fluff, glad to see you back, beautiful place where you live. Brad, did you have any snow up there? One of the other teachers talked to his dad (somewhere in Nebraska) and they had 4" overnight. Matt good luck with the weekend activities, I'm sure that you are getting antsy.

Well, I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

No snow here, thankfully. They did get some in the northern part of the state a few days ago. I am getting real tired of cold drizzle, though ;-)

The Purple Martin
Funny, the next day they were there fluttering and singing up a storm. They're still around but should be leaving soon.
