Good Morning CGs!

Well, the sun is out and it's supposed to be nice today. That's a welcome change from the past few days.

It actually wasn't too bad last night. Chilly and a little wind but sunny. So I took the baby in the stroller for a little run. I was feeling good and went my farthest so far. I ran 24 mins which works out to about 3 miles for me. And I felt pretty good at the end. I'm starving this morning, but that just means I can eat more Hopefully I can start nudging this up a little bit as far as the mileage.

Tinkered with the car for a few minutes yesterday but nothing serious. I need to get off my dead butt and send Mick all my engine details and get my injectors ordered.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning Gurus Beautiful day in Northern Indiana, sunny high of 75.

School Corp Computer guys are upgrading my computers with Macs and ethernet. We pull Wood Shop Projects off the internet. 10,000 projects and 5,000 cabinet plans. Cool!

Computers have a limited life in the real world of dust and emf's

Have a great day guys.

Greetings! Another fantastic day here, should be 80 and sunny. It was perfect out there for golf last night - my game was mediocre, but nice to get out there and enjoy a beautiful evening. A guy could be tempted to get sickly-feeling after lunch today....

I'm not happy with the way the Vette is running, and it sounds like a rocker or lifter is noisy. It's always something. Smells rich as hell, too - maybe I'll datalog it and have somebody take a look.

Have a good one!

Good morning everyone,

Thernometers showing 26c outside, not a cloud to be seen

Had a horrible night trying to sleep, woke up dreaming of fighting with alligators! (didn't win), I s'pose that means something to dream analysist, but couldn't get back to sleep after 4am.

Anyway off shopping now, I'll see if I can get some revenge and buy a pair of gator shoes!

Anyone tried this... try timing yourself:-

I have read research, this kind of mental exercise of the frontal and visual cortex will delay the onset of alsheimiers in some patients.

Just when I was trying to get to sleep last night around midnight I kept hearing all of this clatter down the street and was wondering who and why someone was running a generator so late at night. After a few minutes I got up to check it out and my neighbor, four houses down had the whole house engulfed in smoke and flames. There were three trucks already on the scene and they had gotten the fire mostly under control, but the smoke and damage is incredible. I'm sure it's close to a total loss. I was watching the firemen just bash out entire window frames and use power saws to cut through the walls. Unreal what kind of damage happens to ensure the fire is out!

Everyone got out safely and stayed at a hotel across the way. I hope they asked for waterfront suite!!

They were out there this morning picking through the mess when I left for work. Really sucks. I heard it was an electrical fire.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAA that make my head hurt Fluff. another dreary day today. We had good rain last night. But my allergies turned into full blown sinus infection. I am helping to sponsor a youth party through the church tonight, my grandson will be attending, so no big deal.

Ron, I know what you mean, my computers last about 3 years out here, whereas the rest of the computers throughout the district get replaced every 6-7. People (other teachers) are always complaining that I get new computers more often....well yea out of necessity. For the reasons you mention and the fact that in order to keep up with the latest CAD software, it requires newer technology and faster computers.

Don, that can happen so fast....glad no one was injured.

Our CAD lab gets an update every 2 years and those computers go to the english dept. English dept. likes the big Dells for speed and capacity. They have to have new software and the old CAD software removed. We use Macs for graphics and upgrade those every 3 years. In other words the other depts. look forward for us the non-academic wing to get new computers and Elmos. We usually get 2 Elmos every year.

Greetings, Gurus!

My eyes are spinning now! Eeek!

Don - glad to hear they all got out okay. That really sucks.

My rheumatologist called yesterday after reviewing my CT results from last week, and while things aren't bad, they're not better. She suggested I join a clinical research trial at UCLA, which I agreed to, so I'm waiting to hear back from the folks at UCLA to schedule the assessment appointment.

That's quite a habitué got there.

A fake sneeze used while arguing with your spouse.

It's probably what gives me alligator nightmares as well teebee.

Tommy, I've always been amazed at why the brain/eyes make those designs appear to move..... well I rephrase - it amazes me when I'm sober, other times I can expect it

The Grúa arrived this evening and hauled my Chrysler off to Madrid to have the transmission repaired - another 2.5k euros to work for . Glad I don't have to pay for a tranny/parts from the US at the moment - the value of the Euro is in the pan

Thanks! I have scleroderma, a rheumatological connective tissue disease/disorder, and I'm experiencing some interstitial lung disease symtpoms which are 'normal' for those with scleroderma. It's long term, chronic, with no known cure (or cause), so we manage the symptoms the best we can.

Sorry to hear that bastet and apologies I didn't mean to probe.

I'm not good with words, so all I know to say is best wishes and I hope some cure is found soon.

No worries. I don't mind talking about it. In fact, if me talking about it helps someone else in dealing with their own medical issues or helps someone else make a diagnosis, that's even better. It's one reason why I'm hoping to do the research study - betterment of science, increasing understanding, etc etc, and perhaps helping someone else in their treatment.
