Even though I could have slept in late I was up at the crack of dawn. Doggie made sure of it. I'm enjoying my morning coffee and playin around. It's funny how a simple pleasure like coffee can brighten up your day. Of course the lack of it could make my day a nightmare. Caffeine addiction? I should do absolutely nothing today but I can't bring myself to do it (or not do it). Getting ready to go wash the 91 and give her a pretty face for the weekend. Then go take the shiny car grocery shopping for the pets. Later today my BIL is having a huge birthday celebration starting at 3:00 PM. I'm going but probably only for an hour or two. They invited between 2 and 3 hundred of his closest friends and relatives. He has liver problems and a couple of years ago his doctor told him he had about 5 years left to live. He just turned 50 and spends his money like someone that has been told he has about 5 years left to live. That's another story ..... Enjoy your weekend Gurus and remember ..... If you don't do it, it probably won't get done .....

Good Morning CGs!

Have fun at your party, Tommy. Best wishes to the BIL. Last night the neighbors invited us over for a last minute BBQ around 6:30 or so. We stopped over there for a couple hours and ate, had a couple adult beverages (well, I did at least) and then it was time to crash. I have work and babies (both big and little) needed to sleep. After work today we've got another BBQ at wifey's uncle's house. So it's a BBQ weekend, which certainly doesn't bother me. It's one of my favorite things to do in the summer. BBQ, drive the vette, and swim in the pool are my only goals over these months.

How was everyone's weekend so far?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Got busy doing tech.
Got busy watching runs.

By the time your face feels hot, it's too late.

I rolled an ice colds Corona over my forehead at the end of the day though.

I used to try to refresh my skin with Corona too. From the inside out.

*is it Sunday already?*

Looks like an indoor day today - it's humid and rain is on the way. I may get around to changing the oil in the Vette today. Probably. Perhaps.

Mojo to your BIL, Tommy - we all only have a certain amount of time left, most of us just don't know how much.

Thoughts and well wishes to your BIL, Tommy. Going to be a nice day here low 80's and breezy. I have a second trailer hooked up to the pickup and we'll go over to pick up the last of the middle daughters stuff. Youngest and her family will be going home today, but we are taking them to the zoo first. I'd like to get the Corvette out, but I don't think that's going to happen today.

Might try to check in on the Indy 500 later. Hope you all have a great day.

Yesterday I had a friend with a '94 C4 come over and helped him replace the window sweeps on both doors. Then he helped me pull the driver's seat out of my son's C5 so I can get the seat tilt lever replaced. Today's plan is to replace all 4 H/L bulbs in his C5 with the Sylvania Ultra Stars and relax the rest of the day.
