Good Morning CGs!

Wacky weather here the past couple days. Hot with rain for the most part. Supposed to be rain this morning, they just don't know when

Got some things done around the house yesterday. Tinkered with the pool and looks like I found the source of my leak. The skimmer face screws through the side of the pool into the skimmer bowl. Well, I replaced the gaskets this year since they were pretty cracked and aged. When putting it back together, I noticed it wasn't right - some of the screws didn't catch properly. I took it back apart and the screw holes (plastic) were almost all stripped or cracked. Not from me, but from the PO...bastard. I knew it leaked the last few years, but it wasn't this bad. So I epoxied the screw holes and hope that will be a quick fix for now. I let it all set overnight and I'll put it all back together with some extra silicone later. Took apart a couple ceiling lights and figured out I need two new ballasts, and I painted some shelves. Also made a trip to the store. I was busy on my day off. But it never ends. More to come later.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Sitting here in a hotel room in Austin, Texas planning the day. I have to go to another meeting and have my azz torn out of me. Happy day. Other than that, beautiful day, and a great place to spend some time.

My old Chrysler came back from Madrid last night after have the gearbox rebuilt. Very impressed with the transporter driver, non stop trip and still working at 11:00pm.

Now I have to make a start on polishing/repairing the paintwork (darned water spots on black!), might have to invest in a power polisher. Still too hot to work on paint today, so I might have to go down the local bar and think about it.

Have a goodÂ’un everyone.

Good morning....Finished up the counter tops, cleaned the shop, now ready for the next job. Baseball got rained out last night. Just enough rain to make things wet. Today the boys have activities so that should leave me some free time.

Summer is flying by, always seems like July 4th comes along and then summer is over....

Have a great day.

What would I do without my darling wife calling me almost daily with some very important item that must be done "NOW"? Well I'm here to help. Didn't say that I'd like it but I'm here to help. I'm feeling my blood get warmed up so I'm obviously alive. It just backed up my plans for the day a little not that they are anything really important. I only think they're important. On the grand scale of things, they aren't $#!+

I have been working on the house the past week or so trying to get things cleaned up and organized for summer. We went out and bought a nice bar height stone top patio table with four chairs. The table has a gas firepit in the center. (don't need that right now). It pretty cool. The deck and walkways in the back yard all got pressure washed yesterday and I got a friend that is out of work doing the job for me. He will be re-staining the deck, the walkways and any other wooden structures attached to back yard. I hope to get all this done by the 4th of July.

Nothing happening to the car at this point. Wife says we need to direct our focus into the house right now. Yeah, Whatever!

Have a good day all.

Good afternoon Gurus. Spent the morning helping my neighbor clean-up a fallen tree after last weeks storm. Severe thunderstorms rolled through again @ noon, more expected late tonight. Still have 3,700 residents without electrical power from last Fridays storm. We got power back late Monday night.
