Good Morning CGs!

Welcome to September. Holy cow, huh? Time is just flying by. Well, I'm feeling pretty good after the 8 miler yesterday. Upper back was a little tight, but that's normal for me. It could be from pulling out weeds last night, too. I'll see how I feel later, but I'm planning on a killer workout.

Raining now and I'm supposed to take the vette to the insurance appraiser at 8. Hope the cracked top doesn't leak...lol. I'll keep you guys posted on what he said. I hope he knows about vettes and isn't a douche. If he is, I might have to give him a piece of my mind.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Greetings! Good luck with the insurance guy, Matt. I found a nice G8, but it's way over in eastern Wisconsin, so that makes things complicated. Gonna keep looking and see if I can find one closer. Meanwhile, it's a quiet week here, lots of folks must be out on vacation. I'm gonna do the same on Friday since the Mrs. has the day off.

Have a good one!

Good Morning. Looks like Rain finally. Students begin today working on their F15 fighter. 125 operations out of rough stock poplar. It drives them insane at times. Utilizes measurement, scale drawings, grid information, layout, fabrication, gluing, joinery, clamping, machining, sanding and finish techniques. Should last 5 weeks. Advanced classes start with 3 drawer jewelery box then cabinets. Keepem focuseddddddddd.
Taking a short trip to Corvette Central after school to pick up Lt1 exhaust tips. Lost one last week. Second hour is starting gotta go.

You can always have the car inspected, appraised and transported if you really want it. That's how I bought my 87 911 from St Louis allthough I was on pins and needles till it got to my front door. Follow your passion. That's really a stupid quote. Every time I follow my passion I end up right back where I came from ..... The Dog House.

Yup, 105 mph can generate a lot of wind resistance.

109 and its probably on I 465 smashed and unrecognizable. Sheet metal screws came loose or I didn't get them tight enough.

I hear what your saying about passion and dog house. Everytime I do something stupid which is daily I tell my wife "sorry, I'll never do that again and I'll pay for it"!! Erin's excuse is Dad made me do it! Mom. My Collie tells my wife, I shit on the patio because I saw Ron do it.

Hehe.

Got back from the insurance adjuster already. I was in and out in about 25 minutes, not too bad I thought. The adjuster was a nice guy. Didn't know anything about corvettes, but a nice guy. Wrote me a check based on Melrose Top prices minus my deductible. I thought that was pretty darn reasonable, myself. So I'm all set up to repair this bad boy.

Cloudy here but no rain, which we could use. Have to go to the bank this morning they are not wanting to increase my line of credit on my business unless I sign my equity in my house over to them. How do you politely say, not no, but hell no. I did tell them there are other banks in town. I have been with these guys for 20 years and never missed yet. I will try to be nice. Times have changed.

Brad I like your new avatar. Somewhere in the Badlands I'm thinking. Let's go get um Guru's.

A welder using sheet metal screws. We're going to have to have a talk.

I got some LT1 tips from Corvette Central but they were attached pipes that ran the whole way up to the cats.

Hope you're feeling better T.

You are correct, sir!

Best of luck with the bank - they seem to hold all the cards these days

So what you're saying is that since you didn't screw it, you got screwed?

Off to the store with the wife and have to mail some parts to our buddy Woodstock off in Deutschland.

I hate the start of school....busy, busy busy. Sounds like everything is pretty normal for everyone. I have a meeting tonight, so one more evening shot to h3ll. Tomorrow my grandson has his first football game....at least it is here. he has grown some since last year. 13 years old, 6'2 1/2" 230...that's as big as me...well actually he weighs more than I do. He's going to be a big boy.

Start of school is insane. Street fights left over from summer rekindle themselves in the hall way. Girls that got pregnant during the summer are trying to figure out the baby daddy. Its Hot! Kids have changed their name to a Muslum name. Parents divorcing remarrying, crossdressers, goth, Holy crap. I have it all. But other than that its been a great school year so far. 170 days to go! Jihad Johnny wants to know where east is I point him west. Guy wants leave my classroom to powder his nose.Metro sexual something. I like his ears. Just a normal day/kinda like Glee the tv show.

Consider: Why is Bill cleaning out the shed?

Answer: Because of Craig's List. He bought a snowblower off of C/L. There was no room for it in the garage.
AND he was lookin' at bandsaws, presses, etc. Uh-Huh.

Maybe he really is insane.

BEWARE of Craig's List.

Wonder if I could fit a car in the downstairs living room?

He already is a big boy! If he keeps growing K-State will be showing up to check him out. Maybe even the Huskers! My son is 16 and close to 6'4" and 250, he is a sophmore this year. Eats like a horse! Its no wonder I can't have a ZO6.

Good Evening guys! I haven't had a chance to post or run. Just finished my 8.6 mile run. Humid, Notre Dame's Campus is hyped for their first game against PURDUE. My PURDUE sweats drew a few stares. Put on 403 miles on the ZO6 ran perfect yesterday. Just turned 169K. Zero problems. I 94 was crazy, the speeds these semis run is scary. At one point I was surrounded by semis and started to wonder if they knew I was down there running along side of them. I picked up 3 more vettes in a mini caravan. We all stopped in Battle Creek to gas up and much to my surprise all business women. One was a little"bitchieeee", the others were cool, talked cars and our individual business.
The really impressive part of the drive is the night glow of the dash lights.
I'm at my parents washing the car and getting all the bug guts off the nose. Plus I'll get a free dinner.
My neighbor at my house is a GM body man and tells me a quick spray of clear coat will fix my hazy fender spot.
Talk to you later. Erin
