BTW it might run a little rough on only the #3 cylinder. Or is it one of those efficient new displacement on demand engines?

Har, the idle might be a tad lumpy!

She looks sweet, looking forward to hearing a clip!

THanks...couldnt get the stupid thing to record Ill have to try again.

Thankfully no leaks vibrations or anything funny.

This thing sounds sick, every bit as radical as a Winston cup car.

NOTHING sounds as wicked as a big solid roller I love it!

Ill get a vid soon.
WTF? That's not an LT5. Sissy.
lol This is better than an LT5 its nasty temperamental sounding and straight up wicked;it makes no sense being on the street but thats what does it for me..
Will it last 200k no, if it lasted 20k hard miles Id be happy only used to put 2-3k a yr on it anyway by then Ill be bored with it long before then if I dont break it first.

Seriously LT5 is a great motor and very stout with porting but personally I like calling Summit and having parts I can bolt on easily in a few minutes, personalizing etc. Something about a rowdy sbc I love. Wondering if I didnt get too radical with it, well see;some fine tuning should tame it a bit.

More to come

Hey, Ron, we will have to get you and NelsonV together for a wicked sounding idle contest.

I suspect his 496 will give you a run for its money.

I am so glad to hear it is running and not doing anything stupid!!!! That's great!!!!

I've had my cars in shops maybe twice in my life, both times I recorded the mileage before and after.

Ron, you have the worst damned luck of anyone I know... take it to a shop, and they figure out a way to rip you off... amazing.

I would get some oil in the rear ASAP, tho... just because.

Sound quality is horrible, vacuum leak and needs some tuning but its something nonetheless. Never had an idle issue til I wanted to make a clip then it acts up lol
