It's Friday .... Need I say more?

Yahoooooooooooo! Seemed like Friday would never get here. It looks like it is supposed to cool down a bit next week, so I think I'll just put the Vette away this weekend and get it over with. Of course, as soon as I do, we'll have a month-long warm spell.

Yay Yay it's Friday, the best day of the week! All the anticipation of things to come on Sat and Sunday. Texas is coming to town for a game in Lincoln which we are hoping is major payback for all the other times they have rubbed our noses in it. I hope we do well.

A cool day here today. I'm gonna put some of that plastic wrap on two of the upstairs windows in anticipation of dropping temps. Works pretty well. Other than that my list of chores still doesn't have any checked off.

On a positive note, baby slept pretty well through the night. Only got up twice to eat

Hey gurus....I will second my approval of FRIDAY....Kids are a bit more rowdy today. I'm not sure if it is the weather, or the game tonight or because it's Friday, but things are a little unsettled today. End of the first quarter, that may have something to do with it.

Work the game this evening, then watch middle GS play football tomorrow. At least it's not too far to drive (27 miles). Went to watch the older GS play last night. A good 1 1/2 hour drive...nice part was, it was just the wife and I, so we took the Corvette.

Had to take a break here for a few minutes....meeting with the principal. More BS paper work.....You know, we as teachers could get a lot more teaching done if we didn't have all the BS paper work to do. Why they don't leave us alone and let us do what we were hired to do is beyond me.

Now that I have told the gurus about my bullshit week dominated by meetings from people that read educational journals and quote from journals as if they are gospel its time to focus on now!! another beautiful day high near 67 degrees after a good frost last night. Erin returns Sunday from another road trip to Dayton Ohio, Lynchburg Tenn, and Bloomington Ind.
Getting in the vette after school and going to the Stray Dog in New Buffalo Mich. for Dinner. Great place to relax and get some great food. My wife thinks I'm getting stressed up this week so she suggested that we do this. Cool. Last time I was there I met some Coast Guard Divers and we got a little crazy doing Kareoke. We did our version of Louie Louie, should have been rated R..Wives loved it!!I sing about as well as I dance!! No dancing with the stars for me!!! Well guys one of my students has that puzzled look like a deer caught in the headlights..better see what's on his mind. opps his going again! no he stopped now he looks confused as ever. Lathe work will do that to ya!
