I slept in because I stayed up late. It's 8:30 EST. I watched a creepy movie last night. Later (after midnight) I was sitting in the back yard in the dark. I thought I saw shadows lurking at the fence line. It was hair raising. I got up and walked toward the area where I had seen the disturbance. I was gonna kick some shadow ass. The shadows fled.

Morning gurus...I slept in too. Tommy, the problem is, they just don't know how to play in the wind. We play in 35-40 MPH winds regularly. You can't put the ball in the air like that. Although I've never seen a kickoff do that, I have seen punts that were 10-15 yards behind the punter. Welcome to western Kansas!

Not much on the agenda today, we are having some outstanding weather here. One of the most beautiful falls I can remember. I think we're going to mow the grass one more time and put down the winterizer. I have a couple of chairs to repair, but that's about it.

I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Good Morning CGs!

Well, I slept in, too! I dropped the rugrat off at Grandma's house last night and came home, tinkered with the computer for another minute and can't do anything with it I need to wait until Monday to get the hard drive adapter from my cousin so I can pull it and scan it externally. Oh well. I ended up watching tv until about 12:00 last night while eating 1/2 a tub of Edy's butterfinger ice cream...man that was good. Have to go pick up rugrat #1 and take her to gymnastics. After that I might get to tinker with the car.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Howdy! I slept in royally, always good to get home to your own bed. Looks like Mother Nature deposited a whole bunch of leaves in the yard while we were gone, so I have my work cut out for me today.

Have a good one!

For once in a long time a relaxing Saturday. Erin's house is now ready for winter, sprinklers blown out, changed oil and filter in her lawn tractor. Washed and waxed the 87 at the shop, filled it up with gas and a bunch of stabil. Repaired a roof from this weeks wind. Kinda bummed around, went to VFW Post for a triple burger and dollar drafts. State Road 23 in Granger is a construction nightmare. Road construction, cones, dirt, and tight corners must have too much for a kid in his parents Kia Soul. Looks ilke S.Korean Engineers never thought a kid would drive off an 18" high shoulder. Ouch!! Kid was ok just a little embarrassed. Got in home to watch Notre Dame loose another close one. My wife has her book club meeting tonight! I'm glad its not here. I think tonight its about..... damn I don't care! I'm sure its not about engines or guns or antique stereo equipemnt. Noticed what sounds like a water pump going out in my 89 S10 today, better check that out now. Oldies with Mike Harvey is on the radio, good music to work on cars. That engine seems to eat water pumps, thinking about electric unit. Talk to you guys later.

I got the new melonized cam gear in the mail Thursday. Picked up some assembly lube, too. But family life has gotten in the way of actually working on anything. I'll update when I get to work on it.

When I said I picked it up, I mean Tommy mailed it to me from his personal stash.

If the Gophers can just score 6 touchdowns in the next 5 minutes, they could tie the game!
