Good Morning CGs!

It's 8 degrees outside. Yeaaaaah. Ugh. Is it June yet?

I was taking a shower this morning and started trying to remember the damn order of Santa's reindeer. I have no idea why. But I was singing the song in my head and couldn't remember them all. So I had to look it up. For inquiring minds:

You know Dasher and Dancer
And Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid
And Donner and Blitzen.
But do you recall
The most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer......

Come on now, who names a reindeer prancer? Or Vixen?

So that's my holiday spirit for the month. Don't expect too much more.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning...I'm up early and checking in before I go to school. It's cold here, but not as cold as Matt. We are on our way to the high 50's today through Friday and then into the deep freeze for the weekend and most of next week. Not much to report here. I'll check in later.

Another cold day in the Sunshine State. Had to run the irrigation systems the last two nights to keep the plants warm. Heading out soon to shut everything off. Winter for us started early this year. Bet you if I go to Miami or Hollywood Beach I'll see Canadian and European tourists sun bathing. To them the 30's and 40s is a heat wave.

Greetings from the Great White North! It is a balmy -2 here, just delightful. Somewhere in my mother-in-law's garage there is a Vettesicle.

Hope y'all have a better day than this poor fella:

Holy Chit... its cold here today. I had to turn all the outside water lines off and remove the hoses. This weekend I must get down to the boat and pull the motor off the back and bring that home and do some other winterizing. I have been sleeping at the wheel, thinking winter is still weeks away, but its apparently here now. On Sunday I'm towing a friend's sailboat to my house and storing it for him. Its just a little 14ft sailing dinghy, but a lot of fun. I'll be able to use that next spring to goof off with after I sell my C&C 25. I really hate to sell the C&C as it is a great boat and C&C Yachts has a long heritage amoung the sailing community.

I hope you all stay thawed out and warm today!

Like Matt its cold outside! 6 degrees according to our weather winkeees.
Lake Effect Snow since Monday left us 16" some ares got 32" and more with blowing and drifting.
Kids are taking tests to establish a base line in math and english. My classes are 3-6 students during testing.
Dumbass test takers are giving test all day for 2 days. Yea... that will establish some real creditable data! Kids are squirrellllly after 1 hour. Last english question yesterday afternoon, was based on the Salem Witch trials, They were suppose to write a 2 page paper based on a 12 page question. Yea right. Most students just put their heads down or wrote I don't give a shit...
Wow Welcome to the world of Ph.d'ss

Yesterday I got an email from Chevy that if I took a test drive in a Cruz they would send me a $25 Target gift card.
Since I had to run an errand that took me right by the dealer I stopped in today and chatted with the sales manager about Corvettes. I glanced at a Cruz, got the dealer code I needed, submitted the info on line and now just have to wait for the gift card in the mail. Easy money!

Do you like time share resorts? I can't stand being put through a sales pitch. Nothing is free. Well almost nothing I want anyway.

Here's what cracks me up. My wife and I went through two painful timeshare pitches years ago. A couple years after that we actually decided we wanted to buy a time share and picked the resort outside of Disney and signed up. I even told the sales person that I was sold and let's get to the point and make a deal. He would not have it and kept on with the pitch. I finally said "Dude I want to buy the damn thing now!!" Nope he had to go through the whole damn two hour diatribe. I almost walked out without buying because of his irritating demeanor.
