That was a great Trivia game we had last night. For those who missed it go check it out. My server kept disconnecting because of the moon phase but I still managed to get a few answers in. All of them wrong. It's Friday ...... For those of you that it means something .... Happy Friday.

I am sore this morning from the beat down I took on Trivia last night. It was a lot of fun but I could not keep up with how fast paced it was and there were all these confusing pictures that kept distracting me.

I did know quite a few of the answers but because I must have 250 H.P. computer and connection in a 500 H.P. world I was to slow. I'm not saying it is old but it is getting hard to find those big 5 1/2 inch floppy discs anymore. It was a lot of fun and I will be ready for the next one. I hope they have one every month.

What I need is a real time system that shows the new posts as fast as they come on line. I was way to slow on the refresh button.

Weather is warmer and everything looks better on Friday. Have meetings with clients today trying to work out their farming stratagies for next year. It's all good! Go forth and take the high ground Guru's!

Happy Friday! I missed out on trivia, was busy until after 9 here. Gonna snow here today again - I'm starting to feel like I'm living in "Groundhog's Day".

I found out last night that margins on furniture must be pretty good. We had recently ordered a console table and an end table, and they sent 2 end tables instead. My wife called the company, and they were very apologetic and shipped a console table, and said they'd contact her to let her know how to return the extra end table. They called her yesterday and told her to keep it. It wasn't terribly expensive, about $250, but still.

Enjoy your Friday, everyone!

You can always put it in the garage and store chemicals on and under it.

I don't know if they have them or not but I would bet CC has one if they do. I looked at our post times like on the last question and I had the same time as he did but I was 4 or 5 down the line. My idea is that since CC is in California he is closer to Andy and so it takes less time for his post to reach the server. Yeah, I know stuff!

That would explain why all my posts showed up after the game was already over.

Good Morning CGs!

Thanks to everyone who participated (or lurked!) at trivia last night. Congrats to Kevin on the big win in OT!

I got the rough patching done on the drywall last night before the trivia game. I need to sand and finish it, then I can prime it. I also have some door casing to put up. Should be nice once all done. Then I have to finish the shelves inside.

I wasn't feeling too well yesterday. I think it was just the culmination point of the week and I was tired. So I took a rest/recovery day. Hope to get back to the weights today and have a good workout. Luckily the wife is home so I'll have some more time to goof around.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good morning guys.....Sounds as though trivia was back in all it former glory. Sorry I missed it, working the gs's b-ball game and didn't get home early enough to check in. GS lost his game 39-37. My GS had a chance to tie it up with about 5 seconds left, but the shot didn't go down. He was pretty bummed, but I told him, "You didn't lose the game, it should never have been that close." Our point guard had 15 turnovers and he would come down and throw up 3 point shots when we were 6 points ahead. Oh well, it's just a game.

Yea Marcus, I always felt like my reloads were extra slow when I played the trivia game.

Good Morning All! Good game last night. Once, I got up and walked away from the computer in-between questions and that totally hosed me. Not to mention I missed most of the questions... LOL I was happy to get one correct answer in to the west coast before the rest of ya.

I got to get some work done this morning and then I can play a little bit this afternoon. If I get my stuff done here early I plan to take a ride over to my engine builder and see how things are going.

Take Care -- chat later

Last night before heading to bed, Mrs T-Bone took out a 10 lb. bone in, pork tenderloin roast. It thawed through the night. This morning when we awoke, the roast was ready for prep and roasting. Mrs T liberally seasoned the piece and smathered it with a layer of freshly diced garlic. It cooked this morning for 4 1/2 hours at 325'. They house was filled with the aroma as it baked. I uncovered it and cooked for another it for another 30 minutes, browning the top. As soon as I finish this post I'm going to put my skills to work peeling and boiling some Idaho potatoes, preparing some mushroom gravy and steam some brocolli that will later be buttered. I'm am looking forward to sitting later and enjoying the fruits of our labor. I'll let you know how it all turned out.

Yum, I love roast pork. I usually do it in a slow cooker. Wish I was a little closer to your house.

And there's always chile verde when you want a change.

Turducken is chicken stuffed inside a duck stuffed inside a turkey. Turd dunkin is the result the next morning. Prolly looks about the same.

It could get a little silly though.

It serves 125, takes eight hours to cook and is stuffed with 12 different birds ... now that really IS a Christmas dinner

The surge in popularity may have something to do with TV chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's creation of a ten-bird roast on his show two years ago.
He stuffed an 18lb turkey with a goose, duck, mallard, guinea fowl, chicken, pheasant, partridge, pigeon and woodcock - producing a remarkable Russian doll-like dish.
But now his effort, inspired by recipes dating from Tudor times, has been dwarfed by a behemoth containing no fewer than 48 birds of 12 different species.
This massive roast, the proud creation of Devon farmer Anne Petch, weighs almost four stone (more than most airlines' baggage
