16. a psychologist
17. a pest exterminator
18. a psychiatrist
19. a healer
20. a good listener
21. an organizer
22. a good father
23. very clean
24. sympathetic
25. athletic

36. prudent
37. ambitious
38. capable
39. courageous

WITHOUT FORGETTING TO:

45. give her compliments regularly
46. love shopping
47. be honest
48. be very rich
49. not stress her out
50. not look at other girls

AND AT THE SAME TIME, YOU MUST ALSO:

51. give her lots of attention, but expect little yourself
52. give her lots of time, especially time for herself
53. give her lots of space, never worrying about where she goes

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT:

54. Never to forget:
* birthdays
* anniversaries
* arrangements she makes

HOW TO MAKE A MAN HAPPY

Good Morning! 6:45 here. Trying to decide if I'm going to work or staying here and working. Its supposed to be nice out today... although that should have nothing to do with where I do my work today... but somehow it does.

I'm getting ready to order shocks today but I'm still on the fence between $300 Bilstein Sports or $650 Konis. I talked with Randy at DRM and he said that I would fall in with the 98% of drivers that probably would not get much benefit from the adjustablilty at this point in my driving experience. He said to save the money and get more seat time. Probably good advise.

Hope today is better than yesterday

Have a good one!

I have a friend ....

His wife asked him, "How many women have you slept with?"

He proudly replied, "Only you, Darling. With all the others I was awake."

Greetings and Happy St. Patrick's Day! I expect some craziness in downtown St. Paul - there are usually parades and a lot of folks enjoying a frosty beverage roaming the streets. Meanwhile, I scrubbed the garage floor last night in anticipation of bringing the Vette home in the next couple days. Hopefully the snowbanks will have shrunk a bit by then.

Have a great day, all!

Good Morning CGs!

It's too early for me right now. Apparently my son is an insomniac. He had me up all night and then decided 6:30 was a good time to wake up. I've changed him 3 times since then, bottle of milk, some teething gel...still doesn't want to go back down. Oh well. Maybe the taller of the short people will sleep longer. I can only hope.

I was having dreams last night of putting a superram on the car (literally). There is a guy on CF who has been trying to sell his ported/polished SR for a while. Price started at 1100 and has been creeping down to 900 and now 750. That's a good deal. Comes with fuel rail, afpr, 24# injectors. Supposedly gasket matched to a 1205. I've got an ache in my stomach because I want it but can't tell the wife just yet Oh what to do?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

54 days 11 hours 42 minutes and 32 seconds, not that you are counting.

I just don't get why they are taking shop out of the system. It seems that in your area it would be a very good thing to teach these kids skills and crafts other than shooting each other and doing drugs.

Top of the mornin to ya laddies. It's St. Pats day and I am looking for a Harley T shirt with some green on it to wear today. Don't want to get pinched or anything.

We are in full go mode at work burning up that 3.89 diesel fuel. Nice! All the lists are funny and have some truth to them. I always got a laugh out of Jeff Foxworthy when he was talking about getting real old and in a wheelchair at the old folks home. When folks will ask him if he needs anything he will be thinking, somebody bring me a cold beer and show me something nekked.

Have a safe day guys!

Marcus our state is moving away from Industrial Arts classes auto shop, metal shop, welding etc, and moving towards Tech Exploratory, and Nano Technology. Technology teachers can not teach traditional Wood Shop hands on classes. They are not certified. Thus no one to replace me. Industrial Arts certification died in 1980.

It's a real shame since then the only training you can get for industrial jobs is apprenticeship/otj.

Good morning guys....wow lots of activity already this morning. The lists....very true and very funny. We better be able to laugh at ourselves or else things won't go to well for us.

Marcus, the reason they want to do away with shop classes is multi-fold; 1. It's hard if not impossible to find qualified teachers. Don't take that for "there aren't qualified people", there just aren't those licensed teachers. 2. We don't have to be here, we are not required by any state or federal mandate. Not to say what we teach isn't important, it's just that the State BOE and Federal Dept of Ed. don't think we are important. (dumb a$$holes) 3. It costs lots of money to keep a shop up and running, with finances the way they are, it's a money saving proposition (short term IMO, long term we are shooting ourselves in the foot, maybe both feet).

54 days, not that anyone is counting, well I can tell you RON IS COUNTING. Go for it Ron!

1 1/2 days until spring break. This school year is flying by we have 41 contract days left. Maybe my last 41 days as an educator too, the state legislature is looking to put a stop to double-dipping......oh well, if they do.

Well, I thought I hit the submit button, but apparently not...Ron covered the reasons.

Tom's right about the money, on average it cost $1,700./month electric to power my shop alone, plus the consumables. Administrators don't see the countless kids I've put in the trades, electricians, hvac, plumbers, and carpenters.

Matt I have some justifications for you, a whole list of reasons why you need those parts. I mean you give, and you give, never expecting anything in return. I think if you tell your wife that more horsepower will make you a much more sensitive and feeeeling type of guy, you'll get the green light on it.

Not meant to be. I went to email the guy a few minutes ago and it's sold. It was a good deal. Oh well...I always keep my eyes open for a set of runners and a plenum if they come up.
