That sucks for both the preacher and the SEALS he dishonors. I think people need some psychological help that spin these yarns... What a shame to be shamed! It will be interesting to see how forgiving his parishioners are.

Almost fitting. That was my home town newspaper when I lived in PA as a kid. And it will be again. I wonder how many people do this shit and get away with it? I'm gonna guess LOTS. |

The really sad part is the numerous times the article states that members of the Clergy commonly commit this act.

After recently joining the VFW, I was surprised how many "soldiers" will take claim to awards and medals they did not receive. Although my ribbons are sparce, I cannot convince myself that fraudulently claiming others will make me anymore a man.

I'm not military or credentialed law enforcement, but have worked both with the military and law enforcement circles since I was 19 years old and there are always those couple of people that need to be bigger than life. I won't give specific details here but there are a lot of posers in both military and law enforcement. You can find them on forums and on Facebook and other social networking sites! Trying to Pick up chicks is one way that men in these professions can get really caught up in some trouble. Besides that its poor OPSEC and looks bad on the agency!
