Go for it Bill! Sunshine and blue skys and it looks good for a Sat morning. Clean out the shop day and some mowing in order when the grass dries up a bit. Then the 90 gets a complete clean up, then maybe some pics.

That should take up most of my day, what are you guys going to do? Whatever it is take it easy.

Geez, It's 08:15. Been goofing with the computer updating everything, last evening and part of this morning. Found I had a browser theif. Everything is now clean, backed up, updated and so on ..... Next weekend is Memorial Day already ...... I hope the summer goes by as fast as the early part of the year. (I hate Florida summers). Memorial Day is traditionally the day you have to have your babies up and running ..... afterall ..... you had all winter.

I'm starting the 83 and the 90 and moving the 90 to the street. I hope to take a nice ride and get the last 3 pics I need for next weekends online car show. Maybe we'll see some of the nicest Guru Vettes and some we've never seen before. Maybe even Vetrons.

What's a browser thief? Congrats Tommy on 12K posts. I am interested in how you got started on Guru. Were you a newby like everyone else or did you come over with the others that had gotten banned? Have a good drive today!

Morning guys...I slept in a little this morning, woke at my normal time but actually went back to sleep for an hour. Im going to school to get the table I built and finish up the sanding and start staining and finishing it.

It a beautiful day (at least the start), supposedly a nice day with light winds (I'll believe that when it happens. Marcus and Tommy, get those cars cleaned up and pictures taken. Bill, have a great day at the track (do I really have to say that?....stupid to say on my part)

I'll check in later.

Nice and sunny, but hot here today. There is a very large
Corvette only car show nearby today. I am not entering the show, but going over to meet some friends and wonder around a bit.

Wow! I didn't even realize I hit 12000. I was and still am on occasion at CF. Andy and friends had started this site and I had lurked for awhile. It was originally a technical post site with some games and a little chat. I'm far from a technical guru. That's why I'm found more in the Open Forums. I know a little about alot. Just enough to get me in trouble. I had lurked at CF for about 5 years before I even signed up at CF ln 2005. Mostly to gain knowledge about Corvettes, particularly the C4 gen. So, I have 10+ years in the forums in general. Frank (Mr.Mojo) gave me a little vacation from CF for frivolous posting. He had also turned me on to this place when Andy got the boot. I felt comfortable here. I like to generate traffic as you well know. If nothing is happening I'll find something to perk things up. Some people like me, some people hate me, some people don't give a shit one way or the other. Just like in the real world. Andy asked me a couple of years ago if I was interested in becoming a Moderator. Hell, I was here more than most people anyway. Sure ..... I'm a Mod because I'm here and I can keep an eye on things. I don't have alot of work though. Most everybody here plays by the simple rules. For that I am truly grateful.

Greetings! Dark, gloomy and rainy here, a good recipe for sleeping in. We're supposed to go to a BBQ party later - I have a feeling umbrellas will be involved.

Tommy, congrats on 12K posts, that is a lot of typing! Lots of malicious junk floating around these days - some kind of trojan has been spreading via YouTube videos (mostly using IE browser, as I understand it), so keep your anti-virus and anti-malware software up to date. I would like to introduce the perpetrating a-holes to Ron ;-)

Have a good day, everybody!

No earthquakes here yet, but it is raining like there is no tomorrow. Thought I would pass along these handy tips:

Top 10 Rapture Tips:

10. Fart before leaving atmosphere to prevent embarrassing trajectory changes.

9. Bring a weapon in case some bastard cuts you off at the Kolob exit. (Kolob is the star nearest the planet where God lives, in case you didn't know. If you miss the turn off you are in deep trouble).

8. Refrain from drinking liquids-- Could be a long trip and God is unlikely to pull over.

7. Good manners dictate that you shake Jesus' hand before anyone else's.

6. Call out to friends immediately after liftoff. Once you're in space, no one can hear you.

5. To decrease atmospheric friction, refrain from using Cialis, Viagra, or any other hardening agents after midnight on Friday.

4. Wear clean underwear; you don't want to embarrass your mother if you're the bastard who cuts anyone off at the Kolob exit.

3. Bring a big bottle of water. Jesus loves a good wine.

2. Don't buzz the non-raptured on your way up/out. It just belittles you.

1. Keep your sunroof open.

I'm trying to get as much earthly shit done before I depart. When all the earthquakes and fires start I want everything in ship shape. Don't want to be detailing cars with all that crap going on around me.

I'm not worrying about getting my earthly stuff done before I depart other than going to the gym. If I'm not gunna be here, why worry about it?

Well, I'm still here, if the Rapture occurred, I didn't make it. How about a role call. Anyone not here anymore?

Good Evening CGs!

Had a busy day. Up early and got rugrat #1 fed and washed, quick workout and shower then took her to gymnastics. After that was her bday party at the train restaurant. Lots of fun for everyone. Came home and helped the neighbor shovel some landscaping rock then did some work in my own yard. So it was pretty full and nonstop. About to hit the sack but wanted to catch up on some posts.

Hope everyone had a great day!

I am guessing we are either all sinners or the dude in Oakland was full of shit. I am betting both are right.

I had a very nice, if not a painful day... my back gave out on me again, but, I wanted to get stuff done and thought the work might help free the knot... no such luck.

My friend, Chuck, brought his lovely 85 coupe over (actually, his wifes) for some light maintenance work.

I retrofitted a later gear style power window regulator for that stupid ribbon drive POS, new power window switches and new power door lock switches. The regulator went in easy as pie! Window fit is PERFECT!
