Am I the only goofball up this early?
If I manage to stay awake I'll do some house work, otherwise I'll hit the couch

Nope - I woke at 4AM - Couldn't sleep again. The dog woke me up I think. Let him out to take a dump and then I couldn't get back to sleep. I didn't post the morning chat because I didn't want to wake anyone up.

I got a ton of stuff to do around here today. I need to take a few lessons from Tommy and get this crap done because it aint going to do it by itself. Grass needs cutting still, the garage is a freakin' mess with stuff just dumped everywhere. I'm gonna try to hook up cable in the garage so I can watch football while I clean up the mess!!

Good morning. I slept in a whole 45 minutes extra. The dangling carrot for me is the goof off time I'll have after I get all these annoying little tasks done. There will be scheduled days that I tell my wife "I ain't doing shit". On those days I try to do joyful, relaxing and fun stuff. I usually tell my wife a week ahead of time so she doesn't put me into her plans to make a delivery or work on something. It doesn't always work out but I do manage to work in some "I ain't doing shit" time. It's very important to do this. I don't want to work my life away. (And so far, I haven't).

Good Morning CGs!

Tommy, I try that where I tell my wife that I'm not doing anything...that doesn't ever work out too well...lol. Somehow if I tell her it's my day to work on my stuff, some of her projects get magically slipped in there at the last minute.

So the problem with having two kids is that if one gets sick, about a week later the other one gets sick. So just as the first one is getting better, you have to go through the whole deal all over again. #2 picked up #1s cold that she had last week. He was tossing and turning for about the first 4 hours of the night because every time he seemed to get comfortable, within 10 minutes he couldn't breath from the congestion and screamed and moved around again. Ended up sleeping in his car seat because of the elevation. Hey, whatever works.

Enjoy the car shows, cleaning, relaxing, and whatever other Sunday activities you all have.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning, cloudy and dreary here again today, come on man, it's to early for this crap....

Had a fun day yesterday going to the game. It was foggy and misty and UBoy opted out cause of his bruised knee, we have a lot of steps to climb at the stadium. So I said heck I will take the Vette in, it was still dirty from last weeks outing. I put my Huskers Blackshirts skull and crossbones flag on the car and took off. It wasn't bad going over but by the time I came home it was getting worse and I had to run the wipers. The car was as solid as a rock on the wet highways and I felt very secure running at speed in the game day traffic. The heads up display was great when traffic was bunching up and I needed to keep my eye on the road.

Then 2 big bowls of UltraWoman's homemade chili and a good movie on TV and I fell asleep in the big chair........I was up at 3 am hunting for the Comfort Gel though....maybe I should not have but all that hot souce on the chili....

Church and projects today and a nice nap in the big chair with a football game on the TV. Enjoy Guru's!

Greetings! Pro that I am, I slept in until 9:30. We were up past our bedtime getting caught up on stuff that was piling up in the DVR. Woke up with a stiff neck, so working on the deck stairs yesterday must not have agreed with me. At least I got them done, except for the fascia boards. Drizzly today, so it looks like a lot of sitting around doing nothing. I have a golf tournament tomorrow, so I hope I can work out the kink in my neck.

Have a good one, yawlz!

Chile without hot sauce is like pancakes without syrup.

Or pizza without beer.

Those "acid reducer" pills really help. I tryed them for the hell of it about a year ago and found out that they work. I use the generaic ones with famotidine.

Baking soda always works too.

Morning guys...I slept in a bit, but have been a very busy boy since then. I have vacuumed the house, scrubbed the kitchen floor and washed some windows. The wife is coming home today and I thought we ought to have the house cleaned up for her, so she won't feel overwhelmed when she get here. A little more cleaning to do.

I watched the grandsons play football yesterday then went to church last night and then home to finish watching the Star Wars series. I don't think that I had ever seen any one of the first three episodes all the way through. I was trying to watch them on "Spike" Labor day weekend, but that was just a cluster. I came home and bought the complete package off Ebay. Last week, I started with #1 and worked my way through the whole package. Actually watching it that way, makes the story more comprehensible.

Matt, speaking of sickness, #2 GS was up early this morning throwing up...at least he made it to the toilet. Have a great Sunday folks, I'll check back in later.

I ended up going back to bed for a while. Got back up around 9 and got busy in the house all day long. Rearranged some furniture and moved some other stuff around, almost caught up on laundry. Was a dreary day here again. I'm tired of it. It would be cool and breezy one minute with a heavy mist or light rain, then it would be hot, no breeze and humid as hell. Back and forth. Made myself some Rotel chicken for supper
Guess the vette will get a clean up tomorrow since it couldn't be done today.
