I have a full day ahead. I'll check back in later in the day when I need to take a break. I think it's gonna be lawn and patio day. Cut the grass at the two nurseries and the house then pressure wash the patio deck. Maybe move a load or two of trees to the back of the house. First .... Coffee ....... Lots of coffee ............. Then I'll think about it a little more. Have a good'n.

Howdy! What a great game last night - the Viqueens were in it right to the end. Of the national anthem. They need to clean house - atrocious. It's gonna be a long winter.

Enjoy your day, everyone!

Good Morning CGs!

Rough night last night, lots of interruptions in the sleep pattern....Rugrat #1 was kind enough to wake up at 6:50 and scream for 15 minutes that her mother left for work already...thanks. I laid in bed a bit longer but still feel like a zombie. Kids are playing now but they need a wash up and breakfast.

Don't plan on getting much done today.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Server is down where we store all of our files. Sad, but we can't do a whole lot in my drafting class, because all their files are there, no way to save or retrieve.

I've tried the useless gift thing, didn't work for me either.

Mawnin y'awll.
Not much here, maybe make some thick sliced fried baloney and eggs for breakfast, then I'm headed back home shortly. I dread the drive back home. Don't want to go. Plus I'll be driving in bad weather and getting home to cold rainy ugly weather. Here's hoping mother nature clears a path at least up to my carport....

Hope you have a safe trip Letty.....are you going to make the move to Florida?......

Had early morning mens group today, good stuff.....we learned all about what women want......of course I knew it all already since I am wise and have been married a long time.....for the less informed here they are.
1. Significance
2. Affection
3. Conversation
4. Openess and Honesty
5. Security
6. Family Commitment

We also discussed what men want....
1. Sex

We were told that if we supply our wives with all the above we will not be lacking in things of a sexual nature.....

I also was reading in my new Car and Driver about cop cars equiped with the new MPH-900 license plate readers that continualy scan and run license plates when the cruisers are on patrol.....parked cars, cars moving on the street, any car that's out there. Of the 37K plates that the one cruiser read in August they had 20 hits of stolen or bad guys that were wanted........hmmmmmmmm......they said the time is coming when no matter where you drive you will be recorded.....that's going to put a crimp in my fast driving...

I am a wealth of info today....but this is the Guru where we thirst for knowledge.....

Have a good day everybody!

Good Morning guys! Foggy earlier this morning, sunny now with a high near 58. Getting ready for surprise BB party for Erin (Zoe6) her big 30. She is buried in work plus doing her MBA at Notre Dame she has zero time to blog let alone a social life. I tell her "no one going to give you anything in this life unless you become a politician"
Well guys I have a few Honey Do list of things to do today.

Some crap is just boring to work on like the c2 heaterbox that you'll never see after it's installed.
The Corvette factory musta had an excessive supply of gasket cement when they installed this box, broke 3 studs out of the fiberglass pulling it out of the car.

Tough day and still have more to go. Good thing I'm running on energizers. I'm off to weed whack, rake. and hose down the patio. I wanted to power wash it but the batteries are starting to run a little low. Spent the morning laying down a small mountain of mulch. I share the results soon if I can find my camera. Oh ya, I have to go to the grocery store and pick up a dozen cases of soda while it's on sale.
4 for $12. Party supplies.

Ran out of daylight and energy. Patio now put off till Thursday/Friday. Tomorrow is funeral day and Thursday is a family mourning day. The family stays at home and people come to the house and eat and talk all day. I just have to go for tomorrow and several hours on Thursday. I have a full schedule till Sunday night. Next week I can start the final projects that didn't make the goal. Mainly, tackle the utility room. Patch, caulk and paint. Then the garage takes center stage for some finishing touches. We're getting there. We can actually see the finish line. Then it will be time to decorate for the holidays. More work. I'm going all out this year. Lights, tree, music the works. I haven't done that in many many years. For the past 10 years or so all I did was put up our ceramic tree, my fishing Santa and a plastic Santa on a pole in the yard. Set up and tear down took all of 10 minutes. This year I'm getting in the spirit. Then the grand finale. A big party here on Christmas day. Another eating and b-s-ing event. After that I'll resume my hermit life style and withdraw from the world again ... except for Guru ... of course.

Evening guys......I'm bushed, four MS b-ball games. The first two (7th grade), sucked bad, terrible b-ball, ugly, crappy, but we won both games. The second two (8th grade) were a little better, but these kids REALLY don't understand the game. (shake head in amazement). These are supposedly smart kids, but they do really dumb things on the b-ball court.

Well, it's a little late to say, but drive carefully Letty. Ron, Tell Erin happy b-day, she's just a few days younger than my youngest, she turned 30 on the 7th.

MArcus, I've known for years what they want....it's just me to not give it to them....maybe that's why I'm in the state I'm in.
