Good Morning CGs!

Another chilly day here. Vette is tucked away now after I saw snow yesterday. Oh well. Here comes the season.

Not much to report.

Hope everyone has a great day!

PS - Bill, I saw that paint sprayer at Menards the other day for $177. I might have to get it if I decide to paint the front room (huge).

I thought things would change when we moved out to farm country. Nope .... Still hear Mexican music on Friday and Saturday nights. Cops showed up across the street last night at 11:00. Maybe the guys alarm went off. Not sure why they were there. Still find drug baggies dropped out the window and onto my grass out by the street. Reminds me of the old saying .... Wherever you go, there you are.

I love this place though. Nice lot, nice house and nobody usually messes with us. If they do they'll be a heavy price to pay. Just sayin ..........

Greetings! I have to teach again today, oh what fun. Good day to be indoors anyway, gonna be a balmy 35 or so. At some point over the next few months, 35 will seem warm. But not today.

Have a good one, yawlz!

The way the body adapts to temperature is crazy. In the summer, the mid 90's is hot. In the winter, in the 80's is hot. When you go through a week of 0*-10* when it gets to 38* you're ready to strip down to a t-shirt.(Don't do that anymore if I can help it) My favorite temp range is 60* low to 78* high. Then I feel like I've died and gone to heaven. This year Fall temps in Florida have been wonderful. You know we hate the freezes because it can kill our tropical plants (thus hurting the wallet). Dec to Feb are the danger months for that kind of action. Our two major enemies are the hurricanes mid year and the winter freezes. Losses of $10,000 would be considered a good year. Our worst year we had to write off $120.000 Keep the coldest weather up north guys. I'd really appreciate it.

Good Morning Gurus. Cloudy and cold with snow warnings up til tomorrow morning. Took advantage of Sundays mid 50's temps to get outdoor Christmas lighting up. My wife loves the Christmas holiday. She goes nuts! Everything has to be decorated.
Last week one of my Navy buds (my spotter) had a mild stroke. Went to see him and told him I didn't notice anything different! that got him going, his wife is a mess, he lost feeling on his left side but prognosis looks bright.
I told him he always drooled! he said f@ck you real clear the nurse was impressed.
Well guys my wife wants to go to Cracker Barrel for lunch, wow a hole months fat intake in one meal

Morning all....or what's left of it. Men's group this am and then some meetings with farmers. Cold and clear here today.

Need to order some Christmas presents for the Vette today......new floor mats and I still have not decided what else. I may get the build sheet and window sticker package for the C5 like I did for the C4. It's nice to have. I have the original window sticker for this car but its kinda beat up and they send you everything laminated with the package....also a Corvette brochure for the year of your car. Nice!

What about air filter systems for the C5, what is an improvement over the stock item? TB?

Gotta go now.....

Hey guys....it's been another busy day. Nice to hear from you Ron, hope your buddy makes a full and swift recovery.

Marcus, you can't believe everything they say about the CAI's. But I did install HallTech Stinger. I like it, it makes the engine sound better....did I notice a difference? Maybe...a little.

Oldie but goodie:

There was a man who lost one of his arms in an accident. He became very depressed because he had loved to play golf.

One day in his despair, he decided to commit suicide. He got on an elevator and went to the top of a building to jump off. He was standing on the ledge looking down and saw this man skipping along, whooping and kicking up his heels. He looked closer and saw that this man didn't have any arms at all. He started thinking, what am I doing up here feeling sorry for myself, I still have one good arm to do things with. There goes a man with no arms skipping down the sidewalk so happy, and going on with his life.

He hurried down and caught up with the man with no arms. He told him how glad he was to see him because he had lost one of his arms and felt useless and was going to kill himself. He thanked him again for saving his life and said he knew he could make it with one arm if that guy could go on with no arms. The man with no arms began dancing and whooping and kicking up his heels again. He asked, 'Why are you so happy anyway?'

He said, 'I'm NOT happy. My balls itch.'
