Good Morning CGs!

Up early and already mopped the floor again. That makes #5. This cleaner I used must have some weird properties. It sure made the tile clean. Pulled up years of dirt. But now it seems to linger on the top of the tile and it has a slick feeling almost in some areas, mostly the kitchen. Each time I mop it's better, but man this is getting old. I have to do the grout now, too, because it looks way too dark in comparison.

Found out the other day that my battery tender took a crap. I had this black and decker one, which from reviews, everyone experiences the same thing:

http://www.amazon.com/Black-Decker-BM ... TF8&qid=1323004839&sr=8-1

Now I'm either gonna buy a battery tender jr or the cheap HF $10 float charger. Those actually have really good reviews.

Not sure what else we're up to today.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

The hardest place for me get is to state of contentment. Always striving, always driving. Sadly, I am driven by the need that something must be done. When I have a beautiful morning like this morning I should drop everything and take time to smell the roses. Get to that state of mind that all is right with the world. But that is highly unlikely. It would totally screw up my quest to change the world.

Matt I'm thinking that is an impossible goal to achieve.....Snow removal is first on the list on this sunny bright Sunday morn. Then some church action and eating....need to get the energy back from all the early work you know....

Tommy go take a nice drive with your wife and hit the casino for lunch on the way back.....the world is a mess but your world isn't so lean back and enjoy.....anyway that's what I'm gonna do.....without the drive of course....

Mmmmmm pancakes and bacon are almost done gotta go get me some of that.....enjoy Guru's....

Howdy! Good luck with Santa, Matt ;-)

Snow removal is on my list, too - we got a few inches, made our trip out to dinner an adventure, avoiding white-knuckled nimrods. At least there was some entertaining college football on the radio. Today we'll see if the Viqueens get Tebowed. With all their injuries and ineptitude, they'd have trouble beating a good high-school team.

Have a good day, all!

I neglected to mention, a friend gave me a copy of Stephen King's "11-22-63" last night - I've heard a lot about it, looking forward to reading it.

Good Morning, CG's! I just wanted to offer thanks to all you guys who have been offering advice and answers to the new poster, C4Williams. He is a young family friend of ours (I've known him since he was a toddler). Chris really is excited about his Vette, and wants to "learn it all", so
Trae and I have been helping him along, and trying to get him be patient, which I know is not easy at his age. I've not been able to help him as much as I'd like, due to some health issues, but Trae has shown him what he could, and I've been there when I could. Bottom line is, the knowledge base here at the Guru is a much better source than we could ever be, so thanks to all you guys for keeping the younger generation interested in our great cars!

Good morning, all. Got back from California on Friday night. Slept in until noon on Ssturday - I was more exhausted than I knew. Had a late lunch with a protege of mine and his fiance on Saturday afternoon and then just the wife and I hit our favorite high class bar.

So, I got just about nothing done on Saturday ...

... back to work today!

Santa was a hit with #1, not so much with #2. He didn't know what was going on. Got a halfway decent picture. Stopped at a few other stores and had lunch, #2 was a monster. Too tired so he's napping now. I'm gonna work out, just finished mopping the floor...again. That's #6. Not sure how many more times I'll have to do that.

Ok... here goes:

John - in Cali and you didn't say hi? sniff.
Tommy - Spanky and Our Gang? I didn't know they had so much vocal processing available back in those days.
Ultraman - Snow may be a sign, but the Huskers have a bowl game coming up! And to Petula, get off the hoods of the cars, I don't care if it's an ad for BL, I like those and get off them. And no, you can't dance, bitch. And your voice is over processed.

I am off to datalog the Vette, then run some errands and if everything goes, I will be removing the LTCC and dynaspark for further diags.

Afternoon guys.....the snow wasn't much of an issue. I slept in some and have done basically nothing all day. Watching Indiana Jones movies, I love them.

Good late afternoon all - hope you've had a good weekend. I've not done crap except put up my elderly cousin's Christmas mess Friday. Bah Humbug. I'm not participating this year. I might get a 2 inch tree at the dollar store or something, not dragging that nine-footer out and all the crap that goes with it. I might have Santa pissing off the roof or something.... up till 4am today watching cartoons and having Miller Lite. Did the grocery store bit earlier I HATE shopping growl.
Just come off a 5-inch snow way out of season for here, now it's three days of cold ugly rainy weather. I think I'll hold the couch town tomorrow in case it tries to run off....
Took a helicopter ride Friday also - that was a blast... never been in one of those but I've decided I realllllllly want one
Oh Santa.....

Spent the day shopping with the wife. I'll give her one or two more shopping days then my marital obligations regarding accompaniment of the shopping spouse will be fulfilled. (till the next obligatory situation) Wasn't too bad. Got some nice things for her and for the house, plus got batteries for two of my watches. Now I can put them back into my drawer where they can sit till the next time I find that they need batteries. I rarely wear a watch anymore. I kinds like it that way.

We did the shopping thing, too... nothing huge, tho. Dollar store stuff!

I did diag the Vette - check my thread for updates.

It's actually COLD here in SoCal. Tonight's low is set to hit 40. That's cold around here. Same all week. Except, our highs are in the 60s.

That won't last forever, tho... at this rate, the highs will start to fade into the 50s for most of January.
