Now this is just f'd up. A corner of an Air Base, under a flight line, out in the forest, but a landfill? I want somebodies head.

Weird. The link just disappeared. Here is an alternate link.

Amen!

The alarm clock was a most unwelcome sound. On the bright side, it was twice as warm this morning as predicted - a balmy 9 degrees. Supposed to be in the mid-30's by Sunday, which will feel downright tropical.

Have a good Friday, all!

It's dark out.
I'll try and figure Tommy's post out when I wake up.

Weather's JFB, people playin golf, riding motorcycles. Washed the p/u & the C4 yesterday.

People are praying for snow though.

Sixteen Logical Reasons Why Some Men Have Dogs And Not Wives:

1. The later you are, the more
excited your dog is to see you.

2. Dogs don't notice if you call them
by another dog's name.

3. Dogs like it if you leave lots
of things on the floor.

4. Dogs' parents never visit.

5. Dogs agree that you have to
raise your voice
to get your point across.

6. You never have to wait for a dog;
they're ready to go, instantly,
24 hours a day.

7. Dogs find you amusing
when you're pissed.

8. Dogs like to go hunting and fishing.

9. Dogs won't wake you up at night to ask:
"If I died, would you get another dog?"

10. If a dog has babies, you can put an ad
in the paper and sell 'em.

11. When you drop a silent one,
dogs don't run around frantically
with room spray.

12. Dogs love to ride in the back of
a pickup truck.

13. Dogs never tell you to stop scratching
your balls. Instead, they sit pondering
why you don't lick 'em.

14. Dogs will let you put a studded collar
on, without calling you a pervert.

15. If a dog smells another dog on you,
it won't kick you in the crotch; it just
finds it interesting.

And last, but not least...................

16. If a dog runs off and leaves you,
it won't take half your stuff.

To verify these statements:
Lock your wife and your dog in the garage
for an hour. Then open the door, and observe
who's the happiest to see you!

Who would make a decision like that?......Oh hell, just take it to the dump....nobody will know......WTF...It's the small details of war nice folks don't want to know.

Gray and gloomy here this morning but isn't supposed to snow. It's Friday so we should be happy for that right?

I ordered some stuff for the Vette yesterday thinly disquised as gifts for me under the tree......that's how it is when you get older you buy your own gifts and you give people cash so they can get what they want.....I will buy a few stocking stuffers though so there is some suprises.

Not much else to report, have a great day Guru's!

Rant hat on.
I can feel my face turning red. First, let me say that my wife is an asshole but most of you already knew that. She took over the holiday party that used to be at another friends house. His family has been having family issues over the past several years. So, the party moves to our house. All well and good. The tradition has been a whole roast pig. I told my wife she should not do a pig because if she starts it will become expected year in and year out. If any of you know what it takes to roast a whole pig you would know why I wouldn't want to start it. Takes about 16 hours of slow cooking. I told her if she got a pig she was on her own. Well, she ordered a pig. Make that two pigs. Two pigs 40 to 50 lbs each. That's twice the fun. Throw in a house full of people and I'm in for a great fooking time. I feel like throwing a party for homeless later that same day as a public service. Guess I'll run down and put up a sign at the soup kitchen.

I have a good reason for drinking
But another just came to my head
If I don't drink while I'm living
How the hell will I drink when I'm dead?

Been sober 10 years. It always amazes me.
Can't blame a woman for making you drink but it does make a damn good excuse.

Yea, rock & roll dogs.

They did more than I did today.
I did put my Christmas cards in the mail, had to walk the whole way to my mailbox.

Stood in the shop, looked at the C2, stood in the driveway, thought about changing oil in the Silverado.

But DNBFS rules, took the C4 up to Lake Tahoe for fish tacos.
Now, it's probably nap time.

I don't have any days off, I just have days.

Why am I hungry for roast pork???????????

Yea, IF I ever get it judged (doubtful).

A lot of guys aren't real happy with those quality wise if that's the ones I heard about on NCRS.

There's also ways to cut a case apart and put a good battery in then reseal the case.

Don't matter much to me, a battery is item 1,952 on my list of shit to buy.

BTW, those restoration batteries are $300.00 each.

Roast your pig, bring it over here, I'll add some cornbread, slow fried taters, a crock of beans, and a bunch of beer and there's two TVs....
Nobody will be here but me I could use the company.
I even put up my Christmas tree... I got one of those 'Charlie Brown' trees this year and I have one string of lights in a half gallon Crown bottle with ribbon and stuff on it. That's it. Bring it!
