If you don't like Egg Nog, it's probably because you're buying that store-bought crap.

This homemade recipe contains 3 cups of booze per gallon and tastes GREAT!

Do yourself a favor and Try it!

Best Egg Nog On The Planet

To make 1 Gallon:

2 Quarts Half and Half
1 Dozen Fresh Eggs
1 tablespoon Vanilla
1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Rum
1 Cup Brandy
1 Cup Bourbon
Ground Nutmeg

In a blender, beat eggs until lemon yellow.
Add Sugar, Vanilla, and Salt and blend well.
Pour into gallon container (used milk jug with screw top).
Add remaining ingredients.

Shake well before serving. Jug with screw-top = no mess (ask me how I know), sprinkle with Nutmeg.

Refrigerate unused portion. Good for about a week stored @ 40*.

I usually mark the jug so it's not mistaken for milk.

The flavors will all come together after about 6 hours in the fridge, and will be infinitely more mellow than if you try it right after you make it.

Don't Drink and Drive with this stuff as it is loaded with booze (19% of the volume is liquor) and is so smooth that you won't realize how schnokered you are until it's too late.

Happy Holidays GURUS!

I love egg nog. I even like the non-alcoholic stuff you buy at the store during the holidays.

I'll have to try that recipe - thanks!

I hobble cause of booze. No more for me thanks.

Can you put that brew in the tank? My '94 is lactose-tolerant, and I always heard dairy causes gas...

2-, 4- dimethyl, 3-moo-thyl, octane?

Thanks for that recipe!!! Always looking for a good recipe for some to make. Store bought is nasty!

Come summertime, if i can find it, I've got a good punch recipe ....
it makes 5 gallons with two 1/5ths of pga plus some other assorted add-ins, and you can't taste a thing!

Cheers!
