Good mawnin.

I'm up. Birds are uncovered, dogs had their treats and I took my meds. Time to pour down a couple o'cups o'joe. No joe, no go. Soon a nice hot muscle loosening, bone soothing shower then I should be good to go. Now ........ lemme figure out where I have to go and what I have to do.

I didn't sleep worth a damn, either - I see a nap in my future. Maybe during 2-hour meeting this morning. A friend gave me a copy of Stephen King's "11-22-63", so I started reading it last night. I just got a few chapters in, but am digging it so far. I haven't read a book in ages.

Gloomy good morning from the Heartlands.....warmer though in the 40's but no chance of sun for a few days....Slept ok but stayed up late listening to the songs on the Guru song fest.

Today I must get with it and try to make the living but I need to get some focus.......I will call my banker he can always get me focused.....fear has a way of doing that.

Got some stuff for the C5 but have to wait for Christmas to get it.....I just want to rip open those boxes now.....

Try and do some noble deeds today Guru's it will cheer you up.............geez I'm tired of winter already!

Been a lot of sports talk about dirty football players the last few weeks. Seems it's centered around Nebraska's Nadomikan Suh....I consider him agressive and a take no prisoner type guy but not dirty at all. The football of today does not reward that type behavior. In fact it punishes people for it. (Ok so he stomped on a guy, what's the big deal with that? You know the guy probably said something bad about Suh's Momma and deserved it and more I'm thinkin.)

I am sure it has to do with money. When you have millions invested in some player you don't want him hurt so how far are we from putting flags on them and playing flag football. This isn't your daddys NFL. I am sure some think its good and I agree that the players are bigger and stronger and we need to do our best not to maime anyone. Is it possible to do that and not take the passion out of the game?

Here is a list of all time hard hitting passionate players that were a lot of fun to watch but not much to play against I'm thinking. You young guys won't remember a lot of these....

1. Conrad Dobler
2. Jack Tatum
3. Bill Roamowski
4. Rodney Harrison
5. Butkis
6. Jack Lambert
7. Cortland Finnegan
8. Albert Haynsworth
9. Ray Nitschke
10. Hacksaw Reynolds

I vaguely remember Dobler broke his arm and soaked his cast in water so it would freeze and make a better club.

I also remember Steve Nelson of the Patriots - he needed stitches in his arm, so he had them tape it to the bench while they sewed it up so he could go back in the game.

Good Morning. At work bright and early. But my mind isn't on it. Built a workbench yesterday and want to get to putting the expandable sides with rails on it. Its all on casters so I can move it around or lock it down.

Also, trying to figure out how to bring a Mazda RX7 TII back from Irvine, Ca. Its a great deal and its tweaked for some serious horsepower. Suspension and interior mods. Corksport front bumper! But, I don't know the car so I'm hesitant about driving it cross country. Airplane ticket is about $200 one way, $300 round trip. My truck and trailer would be a lot more with diesel. U haul about the same. Just rent a u haul trailer out there? UShip might be an option. A professional shipper is going to be close to a $1000 I think.

Can't agree Marcus.
Lambert's hitting guys hard (normal football).
This guy's stomping on someone after the whistle.

I just went through this this past April. The most cost effective means is to ship it on an open car hauler. Closed transportation costs a fortune. More than double the open haulers price. Most transports are set up by brokers. Turn down the first offers. Say thanks but your gonna shop around some more. Many brokers work for companies of different names but they're the same agents connecting the load with the hauler. This is how it works. They post on a bulletin board. The load, where it's located, where it's going and they get bids from the haulers. You can accept or decline an offer. The agents get between $50 and $250 or more in fees. They are negootiable with the booking agent. If they won't budge find another agent. You can try to find a company yourself but finding a company that will be available through the dates you want could be a challendge. For example most say we can pick up between 12/19 and 12/23 for delivery between 01/06 and 01/10. You wan't to try to find a single hauler. If not the vehicle will go through several hubs which will mean off loading and loading it several times till it gets to the destination. Finally there is a difference in running and non running. Non running cars pay an additional fee. Is the car lowered? Could create a problem. That's a few of the isssues that come to the top of my head. I think mine came to a little over a thousand when all was said and done to get from Boston to Homestead (Deep South) Florida,. About 1650 miles.

My nightly regimen. 2 ibuprophen and a benadryl capsule. My wife insists the capsules work better. You can get the discount pharmacy brand from CVS, Walgreens or your local discount chain. Take it around 08:00 PM and sleepytime sets in around 10:00/10:30. If you want to sleep later like 11:00 or 12:00 take it around two hours before sleeptime. Remember alcohol and pain/anti inflamitories can do a number on your liver and/or kidneys. So if your drinkin just quit thinkin. I have allergies so I get the full benefit. My wife can't stop thinking so if she forgets to take them she has a hard time getting to sleep. So I guess you could say they can be habit forming.

Note: I am not a doctor, have never been a doctor nor do I plan on becoming a doctor. This is my personal experience and it may or may not benefit you. Try it and let me know if it does anything for your restlessness. One of my friends swears by melatonin. I know something else that puts me to sleep but unfortunately I do not live in a medical marijuana state. 30 minutes and I'd be (insert emoticon with zzzzzzz's coming out of its mouth.)

My neurologist has prescribed me a number of things that all make me sleep but I can't handle the hangover of some of them and there's a couple that makes my depression worse. I think the Celexa I'm on is responsible for some of the horrible dreams I wake up with. Some I'm sure I am not remembering but I'm sure it all affects my sleep, which in turn makes me tired all day and that dont help with depression either.

Highway Patrolman:

I made a traffic stop on an elderly lady the other day for speeding
on U.S. 166 Eastbound at Mile Marker 73 just East of Sedan, KS.
I asked for her driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance.
The lady took out the required information and handed it to me.
In with the cards I was somewhat surprised (due to her advanced age)
to see she had a conceal carry permit. I looked at her and ask if
she had a weapon in her possession at this time.

She responded that she indeed had a .45 automatic in her glove box.
Something---body language, or the way she said it---made me want
to ask if she had any other firearms. She did admit to also having
a 9mm Glock in her center console. Now I had to ask one more
time if that was all. She responded once again that she did have
just one more, a .38 special in her purse. I then asked her what
was she so afraid of.

She looked me right in the eye and said, "Not a f@(%ing thing!"

A professional shipper is going to be close to a $1000 I think.

would you like me to inspect it first? I am only 50 miles away.
