Morning all....another hot one here today. Work has exploded with the warm temps...so from 0 to 60 in about 2 seconds it seemed like.

Am in the process of buying a new 30 foot gooseneck flatbed trailer and hope to have the deal done this am. We are going to need it.

Running a little behind but I should be out the door between 08:30 and 09:00 and on my way to Sebring. I'm trying to avoid getting into "rush" mode. Hectic night before and a hectic morning. UUuuuuuummmmmm! Uuuuuuummmmmmm!!

A new crossfit place opened up and I met the owner, we talked workout stuff for a bit. He invited me to a complimentary class to see how I like it. Going tonight. Should be interesting.

When we were in Phoenix I always keep an eye out for interesting cars. I did see about a half dozen C6's and a bunch of the new Cameros. The new convertable is popular down there. I did see this at the ball park where the San Francisco Giants play. The cop watching the parking lot told me it belonged to a player but would not specify which one.....nice car.

Beautiful top down weather here as well. Though people are comlaining about allergies and pollen.

I'm getting over seeing my fair share of the medical practioners. Had LASIK last week and promptly cracked a tooth on Monday so had to go in for a crown yesterday. Now I've got those follow up appointments. Never saw so many doctors, just the annual stuff while in the service.

Ya lots of pollen here too from the trees....I had to take a pill.

Been a hectic day...folks. I'm ready for spring break. Come on Friday afternoon. Warm again today, 78 and light breezes. I'm going home to start loading the pickup for the trip to KC tomorrow.

Beautiful top down weather here, figures I was at work, and figures the next four days I"m off it's supposed to be crappy rainy weather. All I want is to enjoy some sun on my day off. Is that too much to ask???? This better not be this way all year. Got that book off to the printer yesterday morning, stressy day today, but got a message from the convention and everyone seems to be very happy with the book. That's what I like to hear..

Ohhh I'm not an author - I'm a graphic artist. I do vehicle wraps at the day job but at home I do all kinds of design work. I do magazine and book layouts for people in addition to other things, ads, billboard designs, you name it. The last project was for Rotary International. They're having a convention for their incoming presidents of their clubs. This convention was for four districts, or about 150 clubs total. I put together a 56 page full color magazine for them for the event. Soon for this single district of 41 clubs, I'll be doing their directory which is a book of contact information for all their club officers, district officers and such as well as their bylaws and all that. I'll also be starting a 'concierge book' for the local paper here. It's going to be a full color glossy hard bound book that will be in all the local hotel rooms featuring local restaurants, things to do and what have you. i do have a friend that's writing a book I've offered to help him with his designs and layout as well as his cover.
