Woke up to the sounds of thunder. Rainy weekend in the forecast. If the wet weather holds I may have a chance to workout my on the couch. Haven't done that in awhile. I will work on the laundry room some I'm sure. I can't sit around for too long. Just can't do it. Have a gureat day everyone.

BillH is going racing so we can play country to our hearts content and no one will complain. Hell, you can even play John Denver.

Good Morning CGs!

Got a decent nights rest last night for the first time in a couple days, so that's a nice change.

Rugrat #1 wanted to go in the broom broom car last night so I drove it for a few minutes to get gas and she got a slurpee. It was in the 40s or so outside....car is cold with no heat...lol. I should really fix that heater core, but I know summer is coming so I'm not in a hurry. Oh well.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Mmmm those were good.....Its the weekend so of course its cloudy and rainy. the Ultravette is my priority today after spending 3 hours on the lawn yesterday. We are on call this weekend so can't wander far. We try to get everyone taken care of so they have enough products to get through the weekend but if they call we gotta go.

What else is going on with you and yours this weekend? Enjoy Guru's.....now back to more John Denver......

I was just about to post that very same thing! When I read that first line that got stuck in my head... I'll be hearing it all day now....

Headed to the gym in a bit, ugh.. we also have a health expo here today I want to go to, all the things are free that they'll be doing there. 80% chance of rain yesterday but it didn't.. barely sprinkled in the evening and it was supposed to be nice and sunny today and all weekend but it's awfully gloomy out

Howdy! I slept like a champion, didn't get up until after 10 - damn, I'm good. Gonna be an indoor day today - I'm replacing all the main floor flush doors with 6-panel oak doors, so they need to be stained, routed for hinges, etc. Fun, fun, fun. I'm supposed to play golf tomorrow morning, but the forecast keeps sliding into the abyss, so who knows.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Just hang the doors unfinished and they'll be stained before you know it.

Today everthing I say, people want to challenge. Used to be if you bought two new tires you placed them on the front and kept the old on the rear. Nope ..... It changed. Now they say to prevent hydroplaning put the good tires on the back. The slave cylider on my wifes truck is leaking. I said air must be getting in there. The mechanic said ..... Thanks for the tip but air can't get in there. Then what does the fluid that leaks out get replaced with? Next came the tire tread pattern challenge. I said you could mix tread patterns with similar tread patterns from the same brand. The front and rear wheels on the 911 are different widths. It's extrenely difficult to find a tire company that has a matched set. Not impossible but challenging. Kuhmo has them. The tire salesman and my wife both challenged me on the tread pattern. They said you could do it but it is not preferable. I said you can do it. Of course it is not the preferred choice but when faced with brand availability I would not hesitate doing it to keep fronts and backs in the same brand with similar tread pattern. I gave up for the day ..... Once again, everything I know is wrong .........

Oh ya! Forgot another one. My wife tells a guy she bought my 90 Corvette for me. I guess the check I wrote and the bill I paid on it doesn't count. OK .. OK .... You bought it for me. Whatever ........... Geez ........... Keeping the peace ..... Nothing else matters

Good afternoon, all.

The wife and I went over this morning to see a good friend's (we've been friends since second grade) one month old baby girl.

His almost three year old son came out to see the 2012, so he got some seat time - though he had to stand up to hold the steering wheel. We're doing our best to corrupt him.

Afterwards, we got five bags of two cubic feet each of mulch under the rear hatch and headed home.

There's a lot of space under that hatch. Not like a truck, but worth making a stop. We're a little more comfortable dumping stuff in there because we have one of these mats:

I'm actually still sometime surprised at how much you can get into the 1985.

People love to hate an El Corvino. I am one of the people that would be glad to own it. You have to be a little bit nuts to want one, so I'd have no issue with it at all.

The floor liners are terrific - if they made them for my '96, I'd have them in there. Sure saves a lot of wear and tear on the carpet, and they clean up great. I just put in a request to see if they'll consider making them for the C4.
