I'm up and at 'em again this morning. We are having our 4th celebration today, as #2 daughter has to work tomorrow. She has taken Monday and today off and we have to head home tomorrow anyway as #1 GS has basketball camp starting Thursday morning.

Good Morning CGs!
Back to work for as bit after my mini-staycation. Weather is supposed to be extra hot this week. One city around here already cancelled their fireworks due to the dry conditions. Worked on the ac on the vette last night for about four hours...no joke. It's driving me insane. New coil, pulley, and clutch installed. Won't engage the clutch. I swear I tested everything and still no go. The only thing I have left to do is cut the connector off and check the soldering since I had to solder my old connector back on. This a/c is the bane of my existence. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew |

My wife bought us and a few others some VIP tickets to the fireworks display at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. For 10 bucks we get reserved parking, use of the Champions Club which has chairback seating and a cupholder, an air conditioned area, private elevator and bathrooms, and free food and beverages. Cash bar available. Worth every bit of 10 bucks. The fireworks are free and open to the public. They have vendors and a stage set up for music (2 bands), and stuff for the kids to do. Around 08:30 everybody takes a seat and the fireworks begin. What do you think thay call the event? ............ Race to the 4th. What do you think about that BillH ? I don't think there is any racing involved and should not be called racing.

I always like the before pics better......Is that the girl from the Partrage Family?......lets see Susan Dey if I remember right....see the coconut oil is working....I think I was also in love with her back in the day.......

Howdy! Gonna be a tad warm today, around 98 and humid. And 100 tomorrow. Can't wait to get outside and sweat like a pig some more. I have a feeling I won' be out there very long, or all they'll find of me is a puddle.

Another Dey.....
Well Good news for me. Saw the Myeloma Dr. yesterday. Counts still holding....at least the ones they could get immediately from the bloodwork. The Pee test tells the real tale though. It shows the proteins associated with this thing. So cautiously optimistic. I gained 8 lbs in 6 weeks. Thats a good thing for me. 207 to 210 is a good place for me.now just have to stay here! The Testosterone injections seem to be working and they think the 8 lbs is actually muscle mass and though I'm no Schwartzeneger, I feel a little stronger. I notice it mostly when I ride my motorcycle. Holding the bike up at lights etc is much easier and leaning to push into a nice"S" curve actually feels comfortable again. Thats the small rush in life I live for....and of course driving the vette! Have a good hot Dey Guys! alan |

In the wake of a recent highway incident, DOT officials have declared a war on speeders. After viewing this footage two congressional members forwarded the motion on behalf of the DOT that a speed bump installation legislation be put in place to aid in slowing speeding drivers on our nations highways. In support of this legislation members of multiple state police departments said they would be willing to ticket offending drivers for driving too fast for conditions when spotting airbourne vehicles. I was at a party back in the 80's and a gun dealer brought a fully automatic weapon to the party. Registered, legal, the whole 9. Someone hung a Kawasaki gas tank from a tree limb for target practice. Bikers ..... You gotta love em.  |
