Got about an inch of rain last night and lots of wind but the tent still stands....we were worried at one point. Right now I'm in lets get this thing over so we can resume a semi DNBFS attitude....which I think is always the best attitude.

More later......

Good Morning,

It is cloudy, dreary and rainy here to day and is 52 degrees. In the past 3 days we have gotten about 1.20" of rain. It dried off enough yesterday afternoon for me to get the garden in. I put in 36 tomato plants, 12 pepper plants and 4 broccoli plants a long with several herb plants. I also added a row of carrots, radishes, kohlrabi, cucumbers, Bibb lettuce and some dill and parsley. I may add some buttercup squash later. I ran out of seeds. I know it is a lot for one person, but I share it with neighbors and friends. It is never hard to give away tomatoes and other produce.

Greetings and good luck, Marcus! We got quite a downpour around 6AM, and more to come later. And more to come for the next several days after that. Sunny and warm is conspicuously absent from this week's forecast

Stay dry, Gurus!

Thunderstorms started during the night and will continue about all day. Rain total will be between 3 and 6 inches, some localized small hail, but no tornadoes predicted. Don't think I will do any yardwork today.

I think the rain's done here until October.

Today's big decision..........do the ears on the body mount shims point up on mount #2 and down on mount #3 or visa-versa?

We had about a 5-hour break from the rain, so I quick mowed the lawn, then decided to patch up a few spots, so I ran to get some dirt and sod. I was just tamping down the last piece when the sky opened up again. I expect to see Noah's Ark rolling down the street anytime now.

Hey guys, busy day here working in the yard. Opened the pool but had a setback with the filter system when I found a crack in a plastic on/off valve. I need to go to the store anyway for my chemicals so that will be added to the lists. Pools and Corvettes have something in common....lots of little maintenance pieces for partial year enjoyment

Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm in a place called Cadiz, KY... Prizer Point Resort. Came up here with a friend on a Harley, he's a member of our local chapter Fugarwe Tribe motorcycle club. It's their nationals weekend and they rented a big chunk of the resort. Each chapter takes turns on dinner, tonight it's this one I'm a guest of, our guys started Boston butts at 2am. Having a blast and I needed it. Want to get a Vette gathering up and come back. Barkley lake if you get out this way. Have a good Monday y'all... Ill b at the lake then on the way home tomorrow

Evening guys....It's been a bust day. We got round two of the storms tonight. Here at home we got by-passed yesterday. Today about 3 the clouds started to gather and by 6 it was looking pretty nasty. Then about 7 Rosie and I were sitting and heard this roar. She said What is that? I said that's the storm moving in and very shortly the hail started coming down. Not big, marble sized, maybe 1/2-3/4". It stripped the trees of the leaves and piled up like snow. We ended up with .90 of moisture. We'll take whatever rain we can get.

I did get the Corvette all cleaned up too.

Hope you get the party completed Marcus before any storms moved through.

Sounds like a nice getaway, Letty!

Indeed, hope it stayed dry at Marcus' place after all that work. It's settled down to just sprinkling on and off - it was pretty wacky for a while, non-stop thunder and sheets of rain. Mother Nature is putting her own pool in here :-P
