I started out with a super ram....then well ya konw, may as well do the heads. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense witout doing the cam...and well, EM is doing a group buy, I can save some money on headers. Really should replace the lifters while I'm at it, oh yeah, the pushrods....

Lucky I didn't pull the block......

Go as far as your fun and desire take you, What the hell!! When you run out of one or the other, quit. And get a new camera or quit shaking and mashing the button.

WTF, if it feels good, do it! Have a couple drinks to steady your hand.
I've kept mine fairly conservative because I drive it every day. But even then, I'd charge someone ten grand to build an engine like mine. And only a couple grand or so of that would be labor. Someday I'd like to get another Vette for a driver. If I do, then I'll really go ape-shit on this one!

beautiful work cuisinart.

On the vette, heads/cam/intake porting/long tubes/tune will be as far as I go on the engine.

I want to keep it where I can drive long trips without worry, and do some general cruising, while having some nice power. 400WHP is what I'm shooting for.

On my new street/strip toy.... well thats another story lol.

If it doesn't run 8's in the 1/4 when I'm done I'm gonna be mad.

I'm always budget limited. I always go as far as my wallet can take me, then I usually count on Visa to take me the rest of the way, lol.

Seriously though, if I could afford it, every car I own would be turbocharged, healthy shot of nitrous, built bottom end, Tranzilla 6 speed, etc... The only reason it stops is because my wallet just can't take it anymore.

You need to design a clear acrylic intake manifold to show off your work

Damn, I'm near sighted, and I can't make that picture out.

Got to go get the Windex now, as I need to clean the nose prints off my monitor.
