Today is clean up day around the house. Its still not right after the Christmas fun and games and the laundry room is scary....soooo....I will apply myself to doing some domestic chores today. More Corvette driving will be in order as long as the weather holds. High of 55 today and 18 tomorrow. Probably head into church later also....would be fun to take the GS but will have to see what the weather is doing. That's it.....pretty boring around here...... Sorry about your Gophers Brad....they tried hard to win. Time for Breakfast, Guru's.....have a great day...

Dreary day here but was supposed to be sunny. I'm contemplating taking the tree and al this other mess down and getting the place back in order, dishes need done, laundry needs done,ceiling fans need vacuumed, I've had some extreme fatigue and hurting low back really bad the last few days though. Also have a new light for the kitchen. The bulb in there, one of those twisty things started making frying sounds and smoking so I shut the light off. Took out the bulb, then of course dropped and broke it. Bought a new one, same result. so I have a new fixture to put up. Yay me. Still need to air up the Vette tires, did get the tonneau cover back on the truck amid a bunch of foul language yesterday afternoon though. (Envision a tiny ant with a large piece of potato chip in the wind....)

Rosie, her sis and the two oldest girls went for a walk. Sis' hubby and I made breakfast for everyone else who was there, well Bill made the breakfast, I did all the cleanup. Looks to be a glorious day ahead. We are now back at the in-laws house waiting for our daughter/family to stop by on their way home. Big cool down coming tomorrow. Those old videos are pretty cool. Back then you could order the 409 and a 4 speed in a 4 door Impala. or the 390/4spd in the Galaxie.

Brother called this morning and asked if I'd give them $1500 for it, I told him "You bet". So they brought it over and I wrote them a check. We took it over to the next town for church tonight and she drives and rides like a dream. I'll be driving it home tomorrow.
