2015 Memorial Day Car Show Winner! Huskerland 14775 Posts Member since: 2009/9/12 19:16	Morning...up late and stayed up late watching football last night.....It was movie night so we watched Elysiam which is a scifi flick with Matt Damon and Jodie Foster...it was garbage...thin plot and unending gratouitous violence along with F Bombs.....very dissapointing that Damon would stoop to that......the premise was good and special effects but it fell apart fast.... That was your Guru Movie review....two thumbs down. Yeah going to be nice here Monday with the high of 3 or was it -3....at that point it doesn't matter.... Today get the rest of the Christmas stuff put away and maybe watch some football...... That would be great to go over and pick some yellow squash off the field Tommy......do the hand harvest or do they use a machine? Have a warm weekend Guru's....

They are trying for a third in a row national title. They were undefeated this year starting with a victory at Kansas State.

Speaking of tropical climates, there is a nice crust of snow I need to take care of before the bottom starts to drop out of the thermometer, and then it's time to work on the floor some more. Last night I made some more progress on the PC I'm building to take the place of this old boat anchor - got Windows installed, so that's getting close despite no time to work on it. Good luck to NDSU! Wacky footage, Bill! The leaf pile brought back memories of a similar stunt in my youth. Enjoy your Saturday, Gurus!

Big doings in a wee village south of us tonight....Milligan NE. population 240 is having a huge half time commercial being filmed there tonight with a big concert by a secret performer and tons of free prizes and free Pepsi all over the place....temps will be single digits if that and with all there is to do in the winter in this State I'm thinking they should have 5,000 people show up.....it will be nuts with the drunks and the stuck jacked up pickups....of course Uwoman wants to go but I'm thinking can't we just catch the commercial while we watch the Super Bowl...? More coverage on this as it develops........

Got up later than normal and went up to do my workout, then delivered a computer, then off to the "city" to pick up some stuff for the Merc. Came home and changed the trans fluid and filter in it. Rosie calls and tells me one of my little old ladies that I do work for has left a message and sounded "frantic". So I stop to find out what the emergency was. Her daughter was helping her do something in her closet and slipped pulling the wall anchors out of the wall, holding the shelf. So I assess the damage and go home to get tools to put it back up. I love the emergencies these little old ladies come up with.

We have about 4 inches on the ground and it's still going at it. About 2 inches in the last hour. We walked to church and in the hour we were in there it piled up pretty good. I don't know when it's supposed to stop, but that's OK we need the moisture, in whatever form it comes.
