Good morning

If you don't think the month is flying by just check the date. For many of you I'm sure that January and February can't end fast enough. We have been enjoying the Florida winter. Cool but not too cold. Next week may be a different story. I've heard mention of the word freeze. Plenty for me to do today. Looks like I'll be busy as a Beaver.

Morning guys...I'm up early for some reason today. My head is a bit stuffed up. I have a few things I'd like to get done before we head over to the "city" to watch the #1 GS play ball. #3 GS is playing today as well, but I've opted out of driving 30 minute west to watch him play 20 minutes then turn around and drive more than an hour east.

Better get to it.

Good Morning CGs!

Kids were obnoxious already, glad they finally got shipped off to school for the morning. I have a lot of projects to do today, yet can't muster up the motivation to start any of them. Don't you hate it when that happens?

TB - I think you need to buy that 36 The best part is it looked complete from the picture. You will get nickled and dimed with all the little stuff trying to piece it back together. But I'm sure it's not a cheap project to start with, anyway. Still, I think it's a good retirement hobby...just saying...

Hope everyone has a great day!

THE SUN IS SHINING ON THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, SUPPOSED TO BE 58 TODAY. WHOO WHOO!

READING ALL THAT FOOD TALK IN YESTERDAY'S CHAT MAKES ME HUNGRY. THE MENUS SOUND GOOD BUT TOO SOPHISTICATED FOR AN OLD COUNTRY BOY. I'M ALL FOR A SEMI-RAW RIBEYE & HOME FRYS WITH ONIONS. OR MAYBE A GOOD OLD FASHION CHICKEN FRIED STEAK. NEED TO MAKE A RUN UP TO HOOLIGANS BAR IN TULSA, THEY DO CHICKEN FRYS RIGHT.

Geez...now I'm starting to get hungry again.....

TBee on that Ford...........................I don't know its a lot of work and $$$. If you were inclined that way I think you can alomost buy one already done cheaper than you can do one yourself.....maybe not, but it would be true for me since I would have to farm out so much because of no shop space or equipment to do the work right now......and I'm busy enough that I haven't even got my Honda project started right now.......just saying.......

I have no doubt you have the ability to get it done though and it would be done right....I'm thinking 400 hp small block with a 4A and 9" ford rearend with 3.50 gears.....AC of course.....do they chop the tops on those years cars?

Yea, right. I've considered the prospect that I could probably buy one complete for less than I would have in fixing one up.....but what fun is there in that? the other thing is, they would want their money up front, if I was building it, I could do it as I had money for the project. It may be all for not anyway. We haven't talked money for the car yet.

Howdy! I sacked in until almost 10, now it's time to get busy. Got some more shoveling to do, then back to work on the tile, since I didn't touch it last weekend.

Good luck to your GS, Tom!

This guy is good - perhaps I'll try this while I'm on vacation, after a couple tequila shots:

I'd think $5-6k.

In much better condition:

Steak and eggs for my brunch today - was nearly 10 before I rolled outta the rack today - needed it from being sick for 2+ weeks and then working daylight to midnight - book gone finally so I'm resting today. And I can tell it helped. Sinuses breaking up and clearing out, feeling 1000X better than yesterday. Sun is out, supposed to be 5, I'm already in my flip flops in anticipation - the Vette will be driven today by golly. And, I have some apple pie to deliver...

Tom, you have a good sized house if I remember correctly so you should be able to find plenty of closet space and under bed space to store your parts.

Did the LAST welding & fitting on the 67's headlight buckets, major accomplishment.

Corvette Joe just stopped by in the 66 427, riding around with the top down. That thing just sounds nasty.

A milestone - the last tile has been cut, and the saw has been put away! Mrs. Pianoguy is pleased to not be sharing the laundry room with the saw anymore. Grouting commences tomorrow. I was hoping to be much further along, but didn't feel good enough to accomplish anything last weekend. I have to say that I am quite pleased with the saw, though. I have enough tile left over to re-do one of the bathrooms. I'll get started on that some other decade.

Meanwhile, it is snowing again. Good thing, since it hasn't snowed since yesterday. I was starting to fear that we might run out of the stuff.
