Good morning gang.
We started out warmer today. Temp this morning was 10. We should warm up throughout the day and reach a high in the upper 20's with snow comming later tonight. Let's see what today brings. Word of the Day Thursday, January 30, 2014 sessile\ SES-il, -ahyl \, adjective; 1. Zoology . permanently attached; not freely moving. 2. Botany . attached by the base, or without any distinct projecting support, as a leaf issuing directly from the stem. Origin: Sessile stems from the Latin word sessilis which had a range of meanings including "fit for sitting on, low enough to sit on, and dwarfish (when referring to plants)." It entered English in the early 1700s. |

Good Morning CGs!
The kids enjoyed the show last night. Of course it started late at 7 pm, so they were pretty tired by the end around 8:45. RR#2 was falling asleep in my arms and they zonked out in the car ride home. Still a good time and we will do it again next year. Not much to report here. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew |

Hidey-ho! We are in the midst of getting 3-6" of snow - what a delightful commute! I believe I reached the blistering speed of 25 mph at one point. Heated wiper blades would be a welcome addition to my car as well - ice chunks on the wipers added to the joy of the commute. I suppose I could've gotten up at 4:15 to get a head start, but I'd just be crabbier.

80 yesterday. We are hoping for rain. We are in a nasty drought here.

One foot forward in front of the other till we run out of mountain......that's the was it is here......somewhere its warm and they are Teeing it up and I don't seem to be where that is at the moment.
Not much here although it is in the 40's here but it is so dry right now around here. It's starting to be a real concern.....need moisture. More later enjoy your day Guru's..... |

ANOTHER SUNNY DAY, WARMER, SOUTH WIND, 50'S THEY SAY. THAT'S OK WITH ME. PROPANE TRAUMA OVER, I HOPE. MR PROPANE PRETTY MUCH REPLACED EVERYTHING BUT THE TANK HULL, LOSING HIS EYEBROWS IN THE PROCESS. HIS BATTERY DRILL DIED, SO HE WAS USING MINE-NOT NON SPARKING IT SEEMS. DID NOT FILL UP, BOUGHT 200GA AT $3.50, HOPE THE PRICE WILL BE DOWN WHEN THAT'S GONE. |
