Mornin

I was up at 02:30 with the dogs wanting out. Woke at 03:30 and my mind started cranking. What better time to solve problems than at 03:30AM, especially unsolvable problems. So here I sit with a racing mind. Nowhere to go and nothing I want to do at this very early hour of the day. Luckily I may have an opportunity to put in a couple of hours of sack time later this afternoon. I have a pretty full regular morning schedule today. The mind may be a terrible thing to waste but in this case the mind is wasting some very valuable rest time. Whoo-Hoo! The problems I have are no longer mine. They are in divine hands now. I'm getting better. It only took me two hours to figure that out this time.

Morning guys...Tommy are you having an affair with my wife? She was up about that same time and finally came back to bed about 5:30. It's going to be a hot one today. they are predicting 100+ the next three days. I think I'm going to be glad that I'm headed to Colorado on Sunday. 7500' elevation tends to be a bit cooler.

I have several things to do today as well. And my new principal is moving in to his house today, so I'll go over to welcome him and help him move some of his stuff.

Better get to it.

Greetings! I was the yang to Tommy's yin - fell asleep almost immediately (I am a professional, after all) and slept like a log. Another beautiful day here, 2 in a row - a record for this lousy summer.

G'day mates....Tommy when that happens to me I go take a relaxing warm bath or sit in the shower and then read something like a car mag or even the Bible especially Matthew 6:25.....therefore do not worry....anyway works for me...

Yesterday Uwoman took off for Lincoln to do some shopping. She met up with our daughter and as they stood by the Tahoe my daughter said....I hear kittens....a search ensued and there in the engine compartment wedged inbetween the battery and the fender were two little orange kitty's. They were alive so they found a vet and rushed them over and left them there to see if they could save them...and I am happy to report the kittys are fine and out in the shop now after being reunited with their mamma.....about 50 or more miles in the engine room....amazing.

Cooler here today which is good for us who will be out in it....have a blessed day Guru's....

THE CAT PUT ON AN IMPRESSIVE BURST OF SPEED IN THE CAT DOOR, THRU THE HOUSE AND DIRECTLY UNDER MY RECLINER, ONLY TO EMERGE WHEN THE SQUALL LINE HAD PASSED. MY PERSONAL STORM WARNING.

Had the storms here yesterday afternoon too - close to another one of our Arkansas hurricane episodes from a few weeks back. Even had some hail with this one. Storms here have gotten severe as of late. Not much going on at the office, got all caught up yesterday, expected to receive art to finish the storefront today but he's not sent it so now I'm bored. Have been getting CNN notices on the cell phone planes getting lost again and more getting shot down. What in the hell is going on with all that? Have an appointment with the elder care lawyer today at 4:30 to see where we are in the financial developments for her.

Well, a rough morning for us. Wife woke up at 5:30 in a panic. Her head was spinning like it was on a roller coaster, her hands went numb, and she felt like she had to vomit. Nothing I could do but call 911. Ambulance took her to the hospital to get checked out. We were fearing the worst (blood clot from surgery site, stroke, etc). Luckily it turned out to be vertigo. Doctor gave her some medicine and it calmed down. She has never had it before. A big relief it was nothing major.

Now I am over at my folks' house. I had to put the new bed set together and do some other tasks. About time to go home soon.

Glad it was nothing too serious but vertigo is nothing to sneeze at. Hopefully her episodes are few and far between. Don't let this happen to her.

Hope whatever it was passes quickly, Matt! My wife had labyrinthitis some years back, and it was awful. Her balance has never quite been the same - doesn't take much to make her feel dizzy.

I hate wasps.....I was up on a 20 foot ladder one time and had one crawl up my pant leg and nail me behind the knee....didn't take me long to get off the ladder and pull my pants down.....of course the resulting traffic jam on the street took them awhile to get fixed.... Should have worn underwear that day I guess......

my wife carries around a can of the wasp spray in her little garden tool fanny pak and she can hit those suckers on the wing at 15 feet...
