Good Morning CGs!

I see there are no early morning chatters up yet. Not much going on here. Weather is still crappy with low temps, but the car sure enjoys them. I drove it yesterday and will be driving it again today. No complaints there.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Gooooood morning Husker fans....finally fell asleep in the 4th quarter with the sound of another Husker touchdown droning in my ears....I'm sure I was smiling as we blew out Fresno State last night. It was like 8 oclock in the evening out there and still 98 degrees....what up with that? I finally got into bed at 2 am.....

Anyway I declare this official Guru nap day.....take as many and as often as you like.

I showed my car yeasterday at a local car dealers small car show. He had asked me to bring it out earlier in the week. There were about 6 or so Corvettes...with mine clearly being the coolest.... So they gave the plaque to a stock C5 vert that the guy bought last week and he had a C5 model just like his car sitting on the engine.... Oh well I did get to talk Corvettes with the group. Most of which are first time owners. I hate showing my car.....I like driving it.....

Nice sunny day here today with a warming trend coming up....have a great day off Guru's....

STILL CLOUDY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, I'D LIKE A LITTLE SUNSHINE.

LIT A FIRE IN THE FIREPLACE LAST NIGHT; DIDN'T REALLY NEED IT, BUT IT WAS NICE TO WATCH AND SMELL A LITTLE WOOD SMOKE. SEEMS LIKE AN EARLY FALL.

GOOD MORNING!

Wifey apparently decided somewhere along the way that she was gonna be the pond contractor and she's subbing out all the work. Why she couldn't just find a guy to do it start to finish is beyond me. She had the hole dug, uses her guys as part time laborers on the project, is securing a concrete pump man, has the guy that does this for a living doing the plumbing and directing what needs to be done next. So today I get to spend some time doing pond work. Her little projects somehow seem to drag me in one way or another. Oh well, the bitchin part is over for now. Might as well get some work done. Of course I'll fell better about everything after the job is done. Then we can start looking for the guy to build the Tiki hut, then we can start the landscaping. Should be done by Christmas. Merry Christmas honey. I hope you enjoy your gift.

Morning guys....Headed back to the "city" this morning. Light fixture we bought only works on half the lights. Also found that we needed softener salt.

If it isn't one thing it's another.

Don't worry tee. The day will come when none of that stuff will be of major concern. [insert emoticon with shovel digging a hole, putting up a Good Night sign and lying down in the hole]

Hidey-ho! I shouldn't need any naps, as I made it to 10 this morning - first cup of coffee is just barely kicking in. I hope the Viqueens don't take a page from the Goofers' playbook - they were atrocious yesterday, a real disappointing performance. I got partly done with my remote tailgate lock project yesterday, maybe I'll finish that today if I feel like it.

Enjoy your Sunday, Gurus!

U don't understand Reno.

Haven't turned the swamp on in over a month and it's been in the low 90's.

When it's 90, the breeze thru the house at 5 p.m. is nice & cool (it's a mountain thing).

Of course it would be a tad warm if I was outside doing landscaping yea, right.

Haven't turned on the a/c in the car/truck in a month and a half.

The weather here is JFB.

Started out busy this morning. Mowed the lawn, ran the tiller through the "garden", washed and shined the 'vette, Then tossed a nice steak on the grill for lunch. Now it's time for some NAPCAR racing and the snooze it should induce.

Good afternoon, all.

Beautiful early fall day in the Philadelphia area today. Windows open, sunroof open, air conditioning off as I drove the parents back and forth from church today.

Gris, I sent you an email.

Marcus, there were four lights in the fixture, opposite sides worked. I just returned it and bought a complete fan with light kit for $15 more than the light itself.

Just spent 4 1/2 hours installing a freaking shower door. What a PITA.

When we built the addition we had the shower door installed by a guy that that is all he did...he was in much demand.

That would be good. Then you would just have to find another $19,499 laying around also collecting dust and you'd have yourself a 66 corvette.
