Good mawnin.

Good Morning CGs!

Well, Tommy, I can say that I used to be a workaholic. I think with family and kids, etc, I've learned to slow down a bit and enjoy life. I still don't mind putting in extra hours at work if I can grab it, but it's not all I do any more. Kids birthday parties at Chuck E Cheese seem more important nowadays. But without the workaholic in me, we wouldn't have the scratch to pay for those bday parties. The old days of having it at the picnic table in your backyard with a small cake that mom baked and a tub of ice cream are over. Guess how much this party will cost us? About $400-500. And that's on the cheap side compared to last year. That covers renting the space at Chuck E Cheese, party favors, cake, food for the house for people that come over later, etc. Oh well, it is what it is.

On a car note, I was able to tinker yesterday morning before everyone got up. I changed the fuel filter and dropped it off the stands. Then I pulled on of the spark plugs and that looked in great condition so no problems there. I still have to get gasoline and fire it up. If it's still not running right, I might toss a new 02 sensor in there, to boot. Always something, right?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

WORK? I'VE NEVER BEEN AFRAID OF WORK; I OFTEN GO TO SLEEP RIGHT BESIDE IT.

COLD THIS MORNING, 34 IN TAHLEQUAH, THE CHEROKEES ARE GETTING OUT LONG SLEEVE SHIRTS AND JACKETS. WARMER HERE, 42, WE'RE UP ON A HILL AND TAHLEQUAH IS IN A HOLE WHERE COLD AIR COLLECTS.

CURSE THOSE FLIP-FLOPS! YOU MIGHT NEED SOME INTERNAL LUBRICANT TO EASE THE PAIN. WELLERS WORKS FOR ME. GOOD FOR SNAKEBITE TOO, I ALWAYS KEEP A SMALL SNAKE HANDY JUST IN CASE :-)

Greetings! Hopefully it will dry out enough to mow the lawn today, but I have my doubts. I don't think cloudy and 48 is quite going to do the job. I think I'll change the oil on the Vette this weekend and start to prep for storage. The "S" word was in a couple forecasts - ick.

Have a good day, yawlz. And back mojo, Marcus!

Cool here but warms up nicely during the day.. was up too early so the laundry is going already, breakfast made, tons of leftover dishes washed, bed stripped and ready for new sheets, I need to mow the yard, and some other things I am not in the mood to do including hitting the grocery store. I hate shopping.....

More rain here. I went and ran some errands today and grabbed 5 gallons of 93 octane. $3.73 a gallon which is cheap compared to what it normally is.

Hope you feel better, Marcus. I have never owned flip flops. I hate them and can't even walk in them. My wife lives in them in the summer, though. Different strokes.

If I was a drinking man I think today would be a drinking mans day for the rest of the day. Guess I'll just go pop an NA and forget about it. There's more work to be done.

Hey guys...I slept in after the big win last night by the Royals. It was almost 1am before I got to bed. Slept until 8:30, got up and modified a couple cabinets. Loaded up and moved two truck loads of cabinets into a basement. And have spent the last three hours installing them. Still have a ways to go though. Just stopped to grab a sandwich.

I'll check back later.

Still too wet to mow the lawn, so today is Put-All-The-Patio-Furniture-And-Other-Crap-Away Day. Soon it will be Get-The-Snowblower-Ready-For-Action Day

Luvs me some flip flops - hard pressed to get me into any other kind of shoe. High here only go to about 59 today and yes I had on my flip flops. 43 due for our low tonight but back up to 80 tomorrow. Groovy, I'll drag my beach chair out to the front yard and relax.
All my errands are done except the yard mowing. There's always tomorrow.

Evening guys....it's been a long day. Almost got the cabinets all installed. I need to make one little filler strip and put 5 drawers in. Tomorrow I'll try to get that done. Had to stop so I would have enough time to cleanup before church. I was ministering so had to go. After church I delivered a project I worked on then came home and decided to deliver the the two computers I ordered and set up for the local business. I have keys for the place so I can work whenever I need to. Couldn't get the old computer to download the Windows easy transfer software, so couldn't even get that done. Brought the old computer home and finally got the things working and made the transfer to my external HDD.

In the process I find my #1 computer won't come on. It's been acting funny recently, but today it wouldn't do anything. Tested the power supply and found it was bad, so I installed a new one.

My arse is dragging like crazy. I'm headed to bed.
