Good Morning CGs!

Chilly out there today but the snow will hold off for a few more days. Good because I got the car washed yesterday and it looks all shiny and clean

Work today then I have a couple of days off. Nice to have tomorrow off because the kids will probably want to stay up late tonight. We are going to the movies later and then sit around and maybe watch the festivities on TV.

Got some bearings in the mail from our friend Axel so I will have to pull the alternator later on the vette so do a little preventive maintenance rebuild on that. Something to keep me busy.

BIL brought his nail gun over the other day and said it's misfiring, so I ordered an o-ring kit for that to rebuild it. So I guess I have a few projects to keep me busy.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Going for a 5 hour ride. No plan after that. It will just fall into place. I was thinking of getting drunk but doubt it will happen. Can't seem to get a drink past my lips. That's a good thing. There is some action in the background on the Suburban I like and a second Suburban as a back up in case that deal doesn't go through. It's all about the $$$. I like not being under the gun. I don't HAVE to replace my Yukon. I just want to. I can wait. Car salesman hate seeing money walk away.

Morning guys....Cold here this morning, 3, and with the wind chill I'm sure it's below zero. It is winter, so live with it.

Nothing planned here, maybe a trip to Harbor Freight.

Freezing here too - well, it's not 3, but 33 and that's close enough. I'm not suited for this. Pulling a half day at the graphics shop today, then closed then the other half at the body shop - beemer due for delivery to customer, bumper repair - he should have it done in time for me to do clean up and stuff to get it ready to go. I'm supposed to show up with a pizza. Then we go get my insurance check and pull my car out to wait for Copar to come get it. Hate to see it go. But, I'm looking at it this way: I just sold a 2002 vert for $18,500 and around here you're doing good to get anyone to look at it for $13000... Prayers for an upgrade in my future of some sort.
Happy New Year's Eve to all and best wishes for mojo in all areas of the new year.

CLOUDY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS, WINTER'S HERE FOR SURE. I'M READY FOR SPRING ALREADY. NWS IS TALKING ABOUT ICE. I HATE ICE. ONE YEAR WE HAD NO LIGHTS FOR EIGHT DAYS BECAUSE OF ICE.

Well Letty, that's a pretty fair offer for your car. Not what you wanted, but it is a fair deal.

Happy Last Day of 2014!

A tad chilly here, -3. I'm supposed to be off today, but I'm looking at some work stuff. We're having some friends over tonight - you're all invited, but Tommy will have to bring chairs.

Nothing like a mis-firing nail gun for a little excitement, Matt.

Sounds like you did well, Letty - hope you can find a good replacement!

Have a safe and festive New Year's Eve, Gurus!

Ya ......... Are you really surprised when it's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. One thing is always certain. It's worse somewhere else.

Sounds like a fair settlement to me, Letty. Hope you find an acceptable replacement.

Letty, that sounds like a good settlement. I had 16,000 as a number in my head so I think you did OK.....although I know you would rather still have your car. Good luck finding a new one. Don't wait too long or that settlement check might pay for new carpet, a patio set, ac repairs....etc.
