Good morning
Start the day in the high 50's and low 70's mid-day. Clear blue skies. I think I can do something with that. One of these days I should go to the beach to cast my eyes upon the scantly clad young maidens and see what the latest styles in swimwear look like. In the south end of South Beach tops are optional. It's always fun to go over and look like you're not looking. Steal a peek here, steal a peek there. Some of the finest female forms in the world live in or visit the region. That's a South Florida bonus. Eye candy.

Morning guys...Was a very busy and eventful day yesterday. Homecoming was a huge success. Our girls nearly beat the #1 ranked team in our classification. We had them on the ropes but the other team got hot with a little run and ended up winning by 4. In Boys action we put it to them. We came out steaming. GS had 11 points, 11 rebounds, 4 blocked shots and at half time was crowned Homecoming King.

We are headed to our home town today to pick up a bed from my little brother and visit Rosies' dad.

I'll check in later.

Good Morning CGs!

I got the tile laid last night. Grout will be later. I have some other things to do as well such as the carpet tack strips and a few other items.

TB- congrats to your grandson.

Tommy - despite the south beach rule, I suggest you wear a top anyway

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

*yawn* *stretch* *snap* *crackle* *pop*

Not sure what today will bring, but the countdown to fun in the sun will definitely intensify. I'm starting to make the list of stuff I will otherwise forget.

Somber day yesterday - my long-time former boss and company founder passed away, as did my ex-brother-in-law. One was unexpected, one was not. Both were good men and touched many people. In the announcement about my old boss, they had a pretty fine thought: "In lieu of flowers and memorials the family asks that you give of yourself to others, share your kindness daily in whatever form it may take, in Bill's memory."

Congrats to your grandson, Tom - that'll be a day he'll never forget!

Enjoy your Saturday, Gurus!

Temp got up to 65* already today. I went and sat in the sunlight on the front porch, then I decided to try something. I haven't walked up the steps to the seats around the koi pond for almost a year and a half, until to day that is. I made it up the steps and over to the area around the pond, even picked up some sticks and put them in the burning pit. Felt really good, even better when I made it back down the steps without falling. Before I got sick I could jog up an down those steps like nothing, today it is a major achievement to make one trip up and down.

I'm glad you did that Andy. Like Matt said, it's the little things that can bring us great pleasure. I admire your willpower and stamina.

Give the grandkid a big Husker Atta Boy from us Tom....very cool!

Andy.....One day at a time one step at a time I'm hoping for the time you can jog those steps again.....good job!

Brad...sorry for your losses...here is a N/A held up twice in your direction....

Went out early and got two loads run in the KW....beautiful day here and no lines to wait in at the Ethanol plant...First load was a little heavy....101,000 lbs...oops..... That's what I call a money making run.....I'm legal for 94,500.....hell they would have shut me down plus the major nasty fine if I would have got caught but I knew it was Saturday.....Arr Arr......next load was 94,600....just right....

Going to do multiple oil changes on the GS today....when I had the valve cover on wrong the rockers knocked some aluminum off the inside of the covers....Bill says it would be best to change oil and filter and run it for a bit and then change it again.....so that is what I'm gona do....I bought 20 gals of Mobil 1 and two filters.....the dollars are like I'm having the oil changed on a Pooorcha....

Have a wonderful day Guru's.....

Ya only one. It goes from the Georgia border to Key West then up the gulf coast to the tip of Alabama. It has a couple of hundred different names though.

That's a huge amount of boring to be in only one state.

NAW, I'VE UPGRADED TO 45'S :-)

ACTUALLY, TWO OF MY CARS HAVE CASSETTE PLAYERS THAT WORK AND SOUND GREAT. SCORED SOME VINTAGE BROOKS & DUNN.

IT DID HIT 70 AND I DID PUT THE TOP DOWN AND DROVE THE NEW CAR OVER TO TAHLEQUAH FOR AN EARLY SUPPER. IT WAS A BIT TOO COOL COMING BACK THOUGH.

Made it home from the old home town and we went up to the homecoming/sweetheart dance. I told them we would help sponsor. Kids seemed to have a good time. GS and the Queen had to dance, GS's girlfriend took it pretty well. Last night she was miffed at him for the "kiss". They are teenagers and little things like that tend to tick them off.

We'll get up early in the morning and go to early church.

Sorry to hear about your former boss and ex-inlaw Brad. Bill, I don't want a bad day like that......oooooowwww. Andy, I'm glad to hear that you are gaining some strength back. It takes time. Gris, he got a new "hat" last night.
