Good Morning CGs!

Well, the weatherman was wrong yesterday. Drove to work fine with just clouds, 1/2 and hour later it was pouring. Go figure. It did clear up on my way home, so no harm, no foul. I'll be driving it again today with just a chance of showers. I'm ok with that. So just a reminder that your Corvette will not melt if driven in the rain.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes for my MIL. Surgery is tomorrow, I'll let you all know how it goes.

Mike - the other day you were asking about early vs late 86 models. Early cast iron heads had perimeter bolt valve covers, later aluminum heads had centerbolt (except verts that all had aluminum heads). You can also look at VIN to get an idea, or the production date on the door sticker. There is also a difference in the targa mounting brackets.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Menseng mwahu!

It's supposed to be sunny and 77 today, but I was too lazy to do the driveway shuffle, so the Corvette is collecting dust. One of these days I'll need to give it some TLC, but I'm fresh out of round tuits at the moment.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Morning guys...Waiting for my financial adviser to come by the house. Got quite a bit done yesterday and quite a bit more to do today. Supposed to be in the low-mid 90's. Sun is shining right now so that will allow the temps to rise.

The weekend must be getting close, monsoon season has returned to the Buckeye State. I woke up to a torrential downpour this morning. Fortunately it didn't last long. Threatening skies could let loose again at any time.

I managed to get some more of Michelle's lawn work done last night. Mowed the lawn then pulled weeds out of the cracks in the driveway. Time to hit the remaining weeds that can't be pulled with a good dose of Roundup. Then I can move on to doing my lawn.

It looks like another totally boring day at work, but I can handle it since I am off tomorrow and Monday. Four day weekends rock even if it does rain.

Carry on, gurus.

STILL RAINING ON THE NATIONS TODAY, BUT THE CHEROKEES GOT A LOT LESS THAN PREDICTED.

THE CHICKASAWS ARE THE ONES THAT CAUGHT IT; SOUTH CENTRAL OK HAS SOME SERIOUS FLOODING THAT CLOSED I-35 FOR A WHILE BEFORE THE NORTH BOUND LANE WAS TOTALLY BLOCKED BY A ROCK SLIDE. ONE CAR IS SAID TO HAVE BEEN HIT BY A FALLING BOLDER.
