Good Morning CGs!

Plugs came in the mail Wednesday afternoon. Didn't get a chance to put them in because I was spending time with the kids. Yesterday I has some free time, so I got them all installed and the oil drained and changed. All in less than an hour. The new spark plug socket that I modified made it go much quicker than the previous one. I just have to put the tires back on, drive it out to the industrial area, and seafoam it. See if I can't get rid of some more of that carbon.

The heat wave here has been nice. Warmed up the pool enough that we went swimming the past two days. Kids loved it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning guys....thought I would sleep in this morning, but the phone rang and cabinet parts are being delivered soon. At least the driver called to let me know.

A couple pictures to show the progress. Cabinets starting to come down.

Me, scraping the popcorn off the ceiling. Well technically, I'm spraying the water on so I can scrape.

Glad the kids were able to get another swim day in Matt.

Tawɨr laplapɨn!

Sheesh, Friday already! I'm looking forward to the long weekend, though it means there isn't much left of summer. But soon there will be 6 months of no yard work.

We have the popcorn, too - maybe I'll take it down sometime in the next 30 years or so :-P

Have a great holiday weekend, Gurus!

Well, if you do, Brad, get your arms, shoulders and neck in shape, as you will feel it the next day. Actually arms and neck aren't too bad this morning. My middle back is really achy.

We are only doing the kitchen right now.

So are you just going to texture the ceiling Tom? Maybe throw in some glitter..... The ceilings I like are the old pressed metal ones you see in the old stores.....I would like to find some of that to put up in the shop......

It is trying to kinda rain sprinkle here but not getting much of either....nuts...

Today I think I will take a personal day so I can have a long weekend....don't know what we will do yet but I'm sure it will include the car......it stands ready....

Yes the Screaming Chicken was the last of them with the 455 engine....I never owned one but had friends who did......I always wanted a big block 73 Corvette in those days and they even made a few in 74. I don't think I have a picture of my 73 which was Metallic yellow with saddle interior....4M and L82.......Very nice car.....wish I still had it.........

Have a decent day Guru's......

I had a '73 Grand Prix with the 455 Super Duty - it moved pretty well for a big car. My Formula was just a 350, but it was a fun car.

All the cabinets are gone, the electrical wiring that needed done before new cabinets are installed is done. Just need to texture the ceiling....Yes, Marcus, we are putting a texture back on. Thinned down sheet rock mud, put on with a roller. Then we will paint the ceiling and walls.

AC didn't come today. Got up and checked the tracking number and it said "out for delivery". So I wait around, not that I was going anywhere, nothing. I check the tracking right before I had to go to the high school football game, and it says "expected delivery- Tuesday" Well, SH!T. There goes my plan for tomorrow.

Did go to the game (they are letting me run the clock still). We looked pretty good, well, they were a pretty weak team, but still looked pretty good, won 44-6. Next week that score is likely to be reversed. Defending state champs in their class returning 15 starters.....

Nice trailer Will. Enjoyed the dolphin show, I'm pretty sure they did those things on porpoise. . I always liked the Trans Am Firebirds, 70 was my fav, with the 76 coming in pretty close.

Will, I had an opportunity to pick one up a couple of years ago in excellent, clean shape for $1500. I kick myself in the ass all the time for not buying it. Nice score and happy trailering.
