GLAD THIS COLD FRONT CAME THRU NOW RATHER THAN THE END OF THE MONTH. FIRST OF SEPTEMBER COLD FRONTS ARE DEADLY FOR DOVE SEASON OPENERS; RAIN AND COOL WEATHER PUSH THE LOCAL BIRDS SOUTH AND ALL YOUR SCOUTING IS GONE FOR NAUGHT.

Terrible Tommy returns from school and says he got an F in arithmetic.

Well we're on vacation. Today we're in NW Jew Jersey. We'll be here a few days. Going to see the Statue of Liberty tomorrow and tonight the Freedom Tower. New truck pulls our camper just fine. It's a lot more comfortable than the old one.

Dayton is getting a good bit of much needed rain today. BIL takes us out for a Dayton Dragons ball game for a family reunion each year, and today's the day. May need a boat to get there. No info available on delay/ rainout so it looks like we're gonna proceed until notified otherwise.

I haven't had the chance to drive my car much this year. Actually thought about selling it although I know I can't get what it is worth. Am I crazy or what? It would be nice to have a car with a back seat, though.

Not doing a whole lot better today. The nose seems to be healing but the packing inside my sinuses is what seems to be causing the problems. It pushes against the sinuses and causes a constant headache. I'm supposed to get it removed Friday but I'll be calling the doctor tomorrow morning. I don't think I can handle it that long and I don't like popping pain pills. I sleep a lot, that seems to help. Not my idea of a vacation

uh oh.......they don't make Corvettes with back seats........so you can't sell yours......sorry Matt......although I seem to remember selling my 88 C4 and coming home with a big Choo Choo Cheby van......the realities of life had hit with 3 young children and not enough money for everything....hell I sold my 63 to help get the business going......damn I'm still so sorry I had to do that now that I look back....but at the time there was no other way.....it's first world problems.......but you gotta do what you gotta do.....

I run a trap league at the KCGC on Sundays. Some days I drive the vet. Last months problem was blown hose on the powesteering. I got a two back from the club. Today they ask where is the vet. One guy asked did you burn it up. All I could say was just a few wires so far.
One day it will be perfect and that will be the day I sell it and get another one. Lol

Well, I didn't get anything done in the shop. I did the brakes on the pickup, rotated tires (I'll have to have the sensors relocated tomorrow). Then I watched the Royals kick some Twinkie arse. Went over to look at a counter top job and have spent most of the evening doing drawings for three different jobs.

Steve, if you're looking, I'd move up 2 generations, if it were me. Still thinking about the MG, Matt. I need to go see if it runs and drives decent. Mike have a great time, sounds like you are.

On the Vette sales front. I too have had the thought cross my mind about thinning the herd. They're fun to drive but I don't drive them much anymore. For now they'll stay but I know one day I'll have to sell. Now or later, selling is inevitable. Having a Vette fulfilled a childhood dream.
