Warm out there already...or still. Never really cooled off a lot last night. Headed for highs in the low 90s. I will try to get some stuff done in the shop today. I will also swap the Corvette and Caddy around so we can load up tonight and be ready to go fairly early in the morning for Colorado.

I got the new tires on the PU yesterday. The guys at the tire shop gave me a deal. Originally priced them to me at $1100, when I paid the bill it was $946. Good guys there! I also purchased a different bed liner from Amazon and it came in yesterday too. So I got that installed. It covers the sides and tailgate and should protect the furniture and things I put in, as well.

You guys all know Ultra Boy......big husky Nebraska kid........he was home the other day and I was amazed to know he has lost 70 lbs and has been working out lifting weights and looks amazing. He was a junk food junkie and now is a health food nut.......at his peak he weighed 280 and is down to 210 right now.........I said I'm glad you have sought out the healthy life but what made you go that direction? He said.......girls........ahhh says I....

Speaking of phones ........ Welcome to another episode of "You piss me off.". It's around 10:40 AM and I was sitting on the patio when ...... Ring ........... Ring ........ I say the usual and customary "WTF does she want now?" and get slightly agitated. Then I see it's not her but some other unknown m@+#~rf@(%er calling to bother me. It goes to message and the caller promptly hangs up. This is a big time of year for political phone jive, surveys and donation drives (of which I let as many as possible go to my answering machine). None the less, it pisses me off.

Good Day, all.

Couple of quick updates. First off, my nephew will be having his surgery next Friday. The tumor is currently smaller than it was when they first found it. Long recovery and therapy ahead but everything looks good.

Insurance company made it official yesterday, the Impala SS is totaled. The good news is they valued the car a lot higher than the numbers I was finding in Kelly Blue Book. I look to get a check in the neighborhood of $6000 after they take the deductible out and payoff the loan. Nice downpayment on the replacement. Hmmm, Silver Streak II or Vlad the Impala ?

Meanwhile later that morning ............ Ring .......Ring ...... That ain't no ice cream man ............

+1 on the piss off phone issues of the day. Today must be "stupid customer day" at my office, have had nothing but. Then there's the lady from the other office suite next door, comes over here to use my bathroom. After a half hour the smell knocks us all out. WTF?? My installer gags and hollers, I jump up and run out. There's a can of spray in there why don't people use it? I swear I'e never smelled anything that bad in my LIFE.

We got our email yesterday for the pre-approval, way better than expected. The search is on.

.....that's why she come over to use your bathroom......she's smart.....we use to call those a 7-11 dump......just head down to the 7-11 store and leave a deposit......don't even think of using our bathroom......back in college we had who we called the phantom pooper......never flushed and left......uh....well lets just say it was Guinness Book record.....uh......turds........went on for a long time and even though I lived with 6 other guys we all swore blood oaths on a case of Milwaukee's Best that we were not involved........one day it just stopped and we never did know who the pooper was but he lives on in infamy ...........I myself have seen my wilder days........but I have a lot of stories.........
