Good Morning CGs!

I have set aside some time this evening to get the PS issue cleared up on the Vette. Should only be another 20 minutes or so. I realized last night that I've really neglected the car this summer and barely drove it. I guess with the schedules we've had in addition to the surgery, I just haven't had the time. Kind of bums me out a little bit. I'd really like to drive it more in the next few weeks before it's time to put it away.

It seems as if the rain has stopped for a day or two after we've gotten pounded recently. I might try to cut the grass tonight if the ground is dry enough. We'll see how it goes.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

IT'S A SUNNY 68 DEGREE MORNING IN THE NATIONS, THE CHEROKEES ARE JUST COSTING ALONG.

MATTHEW, HOW HIGH IS THAT GRASS NOW? YOU SEEM TO BE APPROACHING MY LEVEL OF MOWER AVOIDANCE SYNDROME. WHEN WINTER COMES THE GRASS WILL DIE AND FALL OVER BY ITSELF ;-)

I predict wind and rain in my future.

This morning I turned on the TV and thought I would listen to some 80's music while I did a few things around the house. Next thing I know I'm listening to a few covers of 60's tunes. WTF ..... If i wasnted 60's songs I would have tuned that in. I changed to the 70's and found a vast improvement in programming. ........... still some covers though .....

Hidey-ho! Kinda dreary here, some rain on the way. I was going to try to play golf after work, but that looks like an iffy proposition. Meanwhile, soon we will begin our 6 months of no yard work, so it's time to start thinking about winter:

Have a good day, all!

Been absolutely beautiful weather hear.. wish I could be out enjoying it. The tint shop next door has air not working so we have our doors open to give him some cooler air and now I'm froze. Been working on the '65 cab at the shop some, inside of cab is all painted and pretty, getting the outside ready now hoping rest goes by fast.
Been house shopping and now I know why I haven't bought a house in 25 years and rented. This is a huge, stressful pain in the ass. found perfect one, back in my hometown but right at edge of town. I hate that place but love the house. Has saltwater pool, shop, etc. And also has the highest utilities I've ever seen. Geez. upaward of $600 and lows only just under $300. I'm used to our local City Water and Light and I pay $100 for electric and water, trash all of it. Hate to lose a great house for that.
Hope all is going good with the rest of you's....

Here's the house, prayers something gives...

Looks like a nice house, Letty. Good thing they wrote "laundry" on the wall or else I wouldn't have known what that room was for

Gris - got the grass cut today (tomorrow is pickup). Wasn't as bad as I expected. Still all fit in one grass waste bag.

REALLY NICE LOOKING PLACE LETTY, HOPE YOU ALL CAN SWING IT.

CONGRATS ON THE LAWN CONQUEST MATTHEW.

So, I was walking downtown and I saw that there was a "Muslim Book Store." I was wondering what exactly was in a Muslim book store, so I went in.

As I was wandering around taking a look, the clerk gave me the stink eye but asked if he could help me. I imagine I didn't look like his normal clientele, so I asked, "Do you have a copy of Donald Trump's book on his U.S. immigration policy regarding Muslims and illegal aliens?"

The clerk said, "Kiss my ass, get out, and stay out!"

I said, "Yes, that's the one. Do you have it in paperback?"

Hey guys...not sure what I got done today, but I was busy all day. The weather was nice and cool, but at the cost of high winds. Yesterday, the wind was fromt the south, today it was howling from the north. Finally, about mid-afternoon the wind let up. No big deal, I worked in the shop all day on some bedside tables and some work on the CNC.

I created some motor mounting plates for the new motors on the CNC. Made them out of 1/4" Aluminum plate. I tried to cut them on the CNC at school, but didn't get too far and broke the bit. So I went home and printed the pattern out full size, glued those down to the plate and cut them out on my bandsaw.

Got back to the bedside tables, just in time for about three different interruptions. So I just closed the door for the day. This evening we had a dinner meeting to go to. Good food, good company and short meeting. Can't ask for me than that.

No wind this evening and the temp is dropping. Should be good sleeping.
