Hopefully I will wrap up the wall project today. The drywall and patching is done and I put on primer and one coat of color yesterday. The house is a mess and there is drywall dust everywhere. Wife isn't happy with that...but she wouldn't be happy without it, either

I heard on the radio where some guy went on YouTube and said he was going to kill Trump on inauguration day. Apparently he got a personal visit from some men in black suits Not sure what is wrong with some people.

Getting ready to head east. I am going to "The Woodworking Show" tomorrow. See what's new, maybe buy a thing or two and sit in on some classes. Also gives us the opportunity to see the girls, SILs and grands.

#1s' FIL was in a motorcycle accident one of those nice days last week. Broke his collarbone and some ribs and partially collapsed a lung. He was doing pretty good until Tuesday afternoon and then they had to take him back to the hospital. Might make it up to see him while we are there.

Well, I got to go load some stuff in the pickup. Have a great day.

Most exciting... Last April at the Long Beach GP, I won a 2 day drivers school at Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Motorsports Resort. Tonight, we hit the road for Nevada! It's just over the state line from CA in to Nevada. About a 4 hour drive if we are lucky.

Did my annual blood work this morning in prep for my annual cardiologist appointment next week. Should have done it last week. Hope they get the results sent in time. Went to the local critical care office last night to have them look at my eye, on Sue's insistence. It's good that I went. Looks like I might have had four things wrong with the eye all at the same time. Trauma from a stick jumping up and hitting it, possible allergic reaction to some plant material, infection and a sty under the eyelid. Fun, fun, fun. I wanted to make sure I didn't give an infection any time to spread. That's why I went to the doc. Too close to the eye and the brain to not take measures, though some may think my brain has already been infected. Got all the bases covered now.

Hidey-ho! I had meetings right out of the gate this morning, almost as fun as drywall and a sty. And more on the schedule. Meanwhile, the January thaw continues. One day soon I will be able to see the pavement on my driveway.

Well, everything is packed and I'm ready to go. Just waiting on Rosie to get here. I had to have my neighbor to help me load the king-sized bed I built for #3.

Hey Gurus. Just normal work day for me going on here.

Lots of people on the roads going to the inauguration tomorrow.

I got a little work done on the car last weekend and posted pics in my thready. On the engine, I'm waiting for my cyl head guy to get with my piston guy about the combustion chamber CAD file so he can finish up the pistons..... I got the rest of the engine parts and am chomping aat the bit to start machining the block...

The driving school sounds like fun Andy. Congrats!

I've been getting everything ready for the fishing week in the Keys. Boat's ready to go. Fishing gear ready to go. We're mostly packed and ready to go. I have to go babysit at the nursery tomorrow. Saturday I will head south around 12:30PM or so. Get to visit with my friends from Meechigan, O-why-o and other points north that snowbird it here. Is snowbird a verb? It is now. Boat in the water and a beautiful view. Even more beautiful if you are viewing the pics from say ..... Minnesota.

Foggy and cool here - and by fog I mean - you can't see your hand in front of your face. Crazy. Now it's raining. But - day after tomorrow supposed to be 68 and partly sunny. .... Arkansas..
Just finished up a side job for the paper I used to work at this morning, good thing, should get paid just in time for this huge ass light bill we just got that I'm getting the blame for....

That looks very similar to Minnesota, Tommy - all it is missing is a coating of ice and snow :-P
